James Bond, Bruce Timm, and Continuity Questions

Well, its quite obvious hes a big fan of James Bond...I also recall them talking on the RotJ commentary about how the beginning was a James Bond inspired action sequence before credits.

One question though...? How exactly is it that "You Only Live Twice COMPLETELY invalidates/contradicts On Her Majesty's Secret Service"? I know the Blofelds are vastly different in character style, but I don't see how they truly conflict with eachother. Oh, and technically...OHMSS should contradict YOLT, rather than the way Timm typed it, since OHMSS came out after YOLT.

Wouldn't an animated James Bond show, done in the Batman style, be incredible? Oh well, maybe someday.

I think OHMSS contradicted the previous Bond film because Blofeld and Bond had met face to face in another film, but in OHMSS Blofeld must have never seen him before, because Bond posed as someone else and Blowfeld bought it, for a while.

Oh yeah, I knew it must be some obvious thing I couldn't think of (Its been too long since I've watched these, waiting for the DVD rereleases). Wait a minute, but I thought that was merely a costume Bond was wearing in OHMSS, you mean Lazenby is a real guy? :p

Yeah, there was a James Bond Jr, I think he was supposed to be Bond's nephew...I don't have very fond memories of the show, at the same time I don't remember it being horrible though.

That was way back, I think maybe 10 years or so. I remember liking it, but I was a little kid though.
