This show was great, but WB never finished airing the first season. Adult Swim can definately show this, but most likely late at night. Since the WB has ties with CN they can let CN show it.

It had that kind of comedy that you know is stupid, but you can't help yourself to laugh or chuckle a little bit.

I would love to see the Oblongs go to Adult Swim. I'd much rather see them added to the line up than Baby Blues.

I dunno, I'd be game for some Oblongs... I only caught the first episode and thought it was promising, then I completely forgot about it. That's happened to me a lot with the prime-time toons... I still need to check out Mission Hill...

The Oblongs were on for more than a week. And thankfully I have them and Mission Hill on VHS tape, at least. Not ideal, but better than not having them at all!

It was on for about 7 or 8 episodes. It had a very bad time, Sunday 8:30. That is not a good time. They advertised a little for it, but not like most networks. It was like the South Park for the WB, but that show is still on. Did anyone see the Taliban episode? That one is definately a classic for years to come.

Oblongs was up against the final episodes of last season's X Files, the episodes with Mulder returning. Nothing has really been able to stand up well in that time slot on WB.

Actually X-Files is on at 9, so some people could have seen both.

we are talking about two different time zones here. For me, the X Files in on at 8 in the Central time zone, and Oblongs aired at 8:30. I taped the Oblongs while watching the X Files.
I don't know if Oblongs could become a part of Adult Swim as easilly as Baby Blues. I don't believe WB ever officially cancelled it. Perhaps they are keeping it on the bench for now much like Fox does from time to time with Family Guy.

I hate different time zones. I thought I heard a while ago that the WB never "officially" cancelled it and that they were going to show the rest of season one during the summer, but that was a maybe. Now the show is most likely on haitus or is cancelled from the WB.

WB's official site still has an Oblongs page up so I think it's safe to say they still have plans for this show. That's fine! I'd rather see Mission Hill on Adult Swim!

I remeber seeing one episode. It was when his dad got a job as a dwarf throwee, and when he was chucked, they played "Danger Zone" from Top Gun. That was awesome :D

As Adult Swim is currently looking for new(and old) programming to add to its Thursday lineup, The Oblongs would make a good choice.

Are the Oblongs available to be picked up by AS?
It would be nice if there was a place where we could cast votes for what programming we want to see!

The American rights are available for WB-owned networks, yes. Canadian rights are held by Teletoon.

Honestly, the Oblongs just didn't intrest me at all. I would prefer if something better was put on AS.

I didnt like Oblongs, it just did not interest me at all. I did enjoy baby blues though... but i wouldnt mind seeing the oblongs over 2 episodes on home movies, aqua teen hunger force and sealab 2021.... i just hope they dont put the pjs on because i hate that show.

I can most certainly second that final statement. The PJs just never caught my fancy, and I tried for several episodes to get into that show.
