Is their a connection between Jake and the Dark Dragon?

I know I am not the only one to notice that the Dragon form of Jake and the Dark Dragon look similar except for the coloring. Plus if you pay attention to the conversation eirlier in the episode Grandpa said that the reason he wanted to train Jake himself was becuase he thought the Dark Dragon might return. When Jake heard this he asked if Grandpa thought he would have to face him someday and then Grandpa changed the subject. That makes it look to me like he knows more than he's telling, given all of that it seems to me like their is some sort of connection between the two Dragons. Of course I could be reading too much into this, they could have had them look alike to symbolicly portray him as Jake's evil opposite. Since according to Jeff's site he is supposed to be Jake's greatest enemy. but i still feel their is something more their what does everyone else think.

Maybe all we know so far is that Jake's grandpa is the only dragon to beat the Dark Dragon in a fight. But we do not know how Grandpa beat him.

I'd also like to know why Grandpa had to fight the Dark Dragon, was it some kind of love triangle issue in the past, maybe relating to the Korean Dragon(then the Danny Phantom fans might have a point about this show :p ), or did it somehow have to do with the right to train Jake. Should be interesting to find out.

The last episode of the season that was made, "Hong Kong Nights" (originally titled "Re-enter the Dragon"), is a flashback episode showing how Grandpa and Fu Dog met...and their first encounter with the Dark Dragon. I'm not sure when Disney plans to air this episode, though.

I feel that this is going to be an interesting series now that we have this issue between Jake, and the Dark Dragon and how it does relate back to Grandpa.

The feeling I am getting is that Grandpa at one time was Dark Dragon's Student, and that after Some controversy as to what happened, Grandpa left Dark Dragon's Tutalage, and in fact went off on his own Think of it this way Maybe Grandpa saw something in the winds of Change, And the Dark Dragon didn't see that change happening.

(In short a little bit of the clue is in the Episode that was on that has Jake encounter the Dark Dragon..)

So I am thinking this is sort of "Semi-Star Wars style Drama and what we could be looking at is the fact that Jake and Dark Dragon are somehow related.. sort of like Luke and Anikin Skywalker were related .

it's just a thought though..
