I'd like to see the golden age Flash, Wildcat, golden age GL, the Sandman, Starman...........Another question: Do you think they will use the real characters from JSA, or make new ones up since this is JGA?

The JGA, for the umpeenth time, will not have real JSA members. They couldn't use them so they're making up a team. This has been news for weeks and has been on every message board I read.

Well, like GL said, they couldn't get the rights to JSA characters so they're creating their own.
But I suspect even if they could have gotten the rights to any (or all) of the JSA members they would have gone with members that aren't the golden age versions of the current JL. So no golden age GL, no golden age Flash, and so on. It just would have confused non-comic readers.
I guess they could have gone with a JSA consisting of Capt. Marvel, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Plastic Man (for those wanting him to show up in JL ;)), and another character or two.

When I first heard about the JSA being in JL, I had the same thought, "Avoid the name dupication".
We could get Dr. Fate (already established in STAS), Starman, Sandman, Hourman, Wildcat, maybe a few I left out.
I'd like to leave the names of Atom and Black Canary for modern day heroes in their current form.
Plastic Man and Capt Marvel could be used as JSA, but never have been in the comics and that might ruffle some continuity purists. Green Arrow likewise was never in the JSA.
Or they could have borrowed heroes from the AllStar Squadron - Liberty Belle, Johnny Quick, Firebrand, Tarantula, etc.
Or the Freedom fighters - Uncle Sam, Human Bomb, the Ray, Black Condor, Phantom Lady.
Another angle might have been to use the Charlton Heroes - Captain Atom, Peacemaker, Blue Beetle, Question, Nightshade.
As it is, with the use of the real JSA disallowed, we will likely get new heroes similar to the Justice Experiment which added unknowns like the Acrobat to the DCU.

You may not be able to use the Justice Society, but DC has a wealth of Golden Age characters that they either created or acquired. They could make up a team consisting of some Golden Age DC characters and add some from Quality Comics, some from Fawcett...

I've seen Charlton heroes on model sheets (Captain Atom, Question, Blue Beetle, Nightshade). IMHO, they'll use those guys. Hey, if they already have model sheets, what more could you need? ;)

Based on the model sheets, I've really wanted to see Nightshade and the Question.

Dr. Mid-Nite, Mr. Terrific, Johnny Thunder and Star-Spangled Kid would give you 9 to pick from without name duplication.

This might have been mentioned all ready, but...what does the "G" in JGA stand for. Also...I think it's dumb that they're doing this...I think they should wait until they get the rights to the Justice Society before they do something like this...a cheap imitation.

My guess is G="Justice Guard of America"
As for the JSA, remember, its not only a matter of licensing. Theres the confusion factor, in duplicate characters. I don't really want multiple Flash's and GL's.
Also, the JGA aren't necessarily "cheap imitations." They may well be preexisting characters, such as the Charleton characters. Me, I'm hoping they are used.

They still have enough "non-dupicate" members to make up a JSA. I'd really like to see them try that.

True, but DC also has a current JSA running around the DC Universe, so maybe they didn't want people to get them confused.

Quoting the Comics Continuum, Sept 27, 2001:
The JSA won't be appearing on the Cartoon Network's upcoming Justice League animated series after all, but there will be another super team appearing.
The series' producers had hoped to do a JLA/JSA story in traditional DC Comics fashion.
"As for the JSA story, we ran into some issues with DC over the use of those characters," producer Rich Fogel told The Continuum. "The solution was to invent a new 'classic' super-hero group. Although at first we were disappointed that we weren't allowed to use the beloved JSA characters, it worked out well in the end.
"The new characters are more archetypes and actually a lot of fun. I just saw the storyboard, and this is going to be one of the weirdest, wildest episodes ever!"
***
In short, the JGA consists of "new" heroes that reflect classic archetypes. Think of what the classic hero archetypes are and you'll have a semblance of this new team.
Also, this story is said to take place on a parallel earth in a 1950s-esque small town. This doesn’t mean the JL would "time travel" back to the 1950s, the lifestyle of this parallel earth’s 2001 may simply resemble that of our earth in 1955.
Ah, I doth suggest too much.

DC no longer has the rights to Thunderbolt.
They are in the hands of this Creater. PAM
;) If I was doing a JL/JSA story. I would have the JL crossover
into a parallel earth and meet: Flash= Jay Garrick, GL=Alan Scott,
Wonder Woman=Diana Prince, Robin=Dick Grayson as a 35 year old adult, Hawkman=Carter Hall, Superman, and Spectre.
Flash and Superman would have grey hair around the temples.
WW would wear a skirt and eagel emblem breast plate.
I am old school DC. Bring back multiple earths.
The 5 remaining Earths in crisis should have been left alone and not merged into one earth.

So, does that mean we get Captain Marvel (Shazam!), Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, the Shadow, Buck Rogers, and Plastic Man?
Interesting. JGA = Justice Golden Age

My guess is that the characters will have more of a "pulp" feel to them. Kinda like the characters used in "The Authority" (and some of the characters you mentioned, superfriend).
What I mean is that they would reflect the images of heroes such as Doc Savage, The Shadow, Flash Gordon, and any one of many Femme Fatales of the 1940's and 50's.
JGA=Justice Guild of America? The Justice Group??? Justice Guys???

Justice Gang of America? It would make sense, with the appearance of the Injustice Gang this season. The villains could've based the name of their team on the legendary group of heroes as a kind of joke.

I think it could mean "The Justice Guardians of America."
It may potentially have pulp heroes in it; with a kind of Doc Savage character as the leader.

Who is it? We dunno, because Bruce Timm has said that it will be composed of a bunch of completely new characters.

I find it strange that no one mentioned Sandman and Spectre. I always thought they were two of the best characters from the JSA. I really wanted to see Sandman animated, so I'm kinda of dissapointed. I have faith in the JL crew that they will make some good classic heroes.

When he says new characters, does he mean new concepts or people with the same powers of, let's say, Charlton heroes? Charlton heroes would be so cool! Forget new, I want old!
