Superhero Hype (http://www.superherohype.com/news.php?id=2817) reports that Frank Miller, creator of Sin City and writer/artist of all of its stories, and co-director to the film, will illustrate the special May issue of Maxim magazine that will cover everything “Sin City.” To make the cover something of a collector’s item, the issue with Miller’s cover will only ship in 20% of the run, while the other cover, featuring one of the stars of the film Brittany Murphy, will fill out the rest of the print run.

Thanks to PaQ for the heads up.

Howdy,
Good news: Frank Miller is drawing Sin City stuff again.
Bad news: It's only a magazine cover.
Worse news: It's Maxim magazine, which (from the few samples I've encountered) is an astonishingly lousy magazine with decent photography and some of the most relentlessly brainless writing I've ever read. And it seems to be PROUD of this fact. Not that everything has to be Shakespeare, but men can and ought to think with their brains every now and then.
Oh, well. Greg Land needs to steal his photoreference from somewhere, I suppose :D.

Wow, that's a hot cover. But am I the only one who thinks "Catwoman: When In Rome" instead of Sin City upon looking at it?

Haha... I like Maxim. Though it may not by Pulitzer Prize winning material, I find the magazine entertaining. Different strokes eh? "Gossip" magazines that talk about Brad and Jennifer take the cake for snore fests in my opinion.
Yeah, I thought of Sale/Loeb's WIR immedialy when I saw that Maxim cover. Sin City get two thumbs up from me. I hope to get my hands on that Miller covered issue.
