Astroboy, What happened to it?

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong forum.

But.. what happened to it? is it cancelled?

I saw it one of my local channels(Telemundo.) and I was wondering if the English dub is getting any new eps.

The last I saw in Telemundo was about this Robot, and a Lunar base and he remenbering his childhood dream of seeing the Moon.(Something like that)

There's a boxset of the entire series out now. Although if I remember right it is edited and only has a dubtrack, but the full show is out there. Wouldn't count on seeing it on TV again though.

KidsWB destroyed any chance it had for success by editing it to Saturday Morning standards. Kids hated Astro, adults hated edits.

The boxset is a dub only affair. And last time I went to Wal-Mart, they hadn't moved one (this same Wal-Mart has a decent anime selection and manages to sell it regularly).

However, I doubt KidsWB will want to release the series in its original form...but that's just me. :shrug:
