New Update on My Mom

Well, it's been about a month-and-a-half since she went in for her bone-marrow transplant. At least now, they moved her into ICU and put a breathing tube into her and AFAIK, she been pretty much asleep most of the time. So, I'm hoping she'll be coming home next week. I hope she'll be in a decent mood when she finally does.:sweat:

I know it's been a while since I last spoke of this, but things have been pretty much the same: she's been resting a lot and her mouth is still too sore too talk.

I'll still keep thinking about her though.

Sometimes just getting along from day to day is the best we can do.

I'm sure she's recovering and getting better, if slowly. And with the pain she must be in, your thoughts, concern and prayers mean the world to her, Viper.

I'm glad your mother is doing better, Viper. Even though she may not be able to speak to you, I'm sure her feelings and thoughts are being communicated to you easily.

Thanks for the update on your mom, Viper. I know (from personal experience, with my dad) it's not an easy thing to go through when someone so close is having health problems, but we will continue to keep her & your family in our prayers -- and your mom & your family as well, Blue Falcon. :)

thanks :) actually, right now she's ok. she went to the doctor and they didn't see anything wrong with her heart

Finally, some good news:

My mom's fevers have finally stopped and she's also starting to eat solid food again, after drinking Ensure for so long.:D She also finally starting to talk again, even though her throat is still a bit sore. Of course, she's still sleeping a lot, but she needs plenty of it.:)

This is fantastic news for me. I'll try & keep you all posted.:)
