Not only in wal-mart are these prices avaiable, I've seen similar prices in EB. I bought a couple games from EB the other day at good prices.

This is most likely the case, as my local Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have much in the way of a clearance sale right now (outside the typical bargin bin stuff).

Wow, weird. I just assumed that just about everything with these giant chains was regulated by corporate office. I didn't realize that the corporate people gave Wal-Mart management that kind of control. :eek:

Though I'm basing it off of my limited managerial control at work (Gamestop). Everything is planned out to the T there, so I assumed it was the same everywhere.:(

Kinda figured but one never knows. :)

Besides, I hardly buy video games there, anyway. I bought one (Ratchet and Clank). The rest come from EB.

Yeah, if an individual store has to make room, they can clearance certain stuff to make room (with permission of course). Yours needed to make more video game room. Last year mine started remodel so it was selling 55 gallon aquarium & stand combo for $150, which together would normally sell for a good $300.
