Many complained about the lack of transition between Zeo and Turbo. While the original Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie script had such scenes describing why the Turbo Zords were necessary, and included a scene showing how badly beaten the Zeo Powers would be by Divatox' crew, these were never shown or filmed. Zeo ended rather good, with the powers surviving, the Machine Empire destroyed, and Lord Zedd and Rita ready to reclaim the mantle of bad guys.
As it stands, America saw nothing but the team shifting into Turbo for no apparent reason.
Australia got something different though, a set of five serials before Turbo aired (similar to the Zeo serials which make no sense whatsover... a laser is carving the Zeo logos into giant bricks of gold in space?), featuring the Super Zeo Zord V taking down Serpenterra. Badly made, with Australians dubbing over voices of people in suits, while action figures comprised of the Zord footage (Not that Saban hadn't done that before... look at the Shogun and Ninja Ultrazords).
While those tapes have been lost to the wind, a fan has decided to recreate it to the best of our abilities.
