The new Jetix series Battle B-Daman debuted today with one full hour. Did anyone watch to see how those marbles fly? If so, you can now voice your opinion here at Toon Zone.
Hmmm, Howling Cat Enterprises... So, this is what has become of Sensation Animation since Digimon, eh? I noticed that we have the regulars, like Terri Lei O'Malley and Michael Sorich working on this show.
As for the show itself, it seems to me like just another Beyblade...

And it was obvious Philece Sampler (Mimi of Digimon) does the MILF "mom," and it seems Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Major Kusanagi of Ghost in the Shell: SAC and Julia of Cowboy Bebop) does the narrator. Steve Blum (Spike of Cowboy Bebop) is probably one of the boys.

Yeah, that's the thought that came to my mind too. Another toy used for battle. And here I expected them to put on the armor! :D
I watched the credits, and the show is, as I surmised, full of Digimon voices. Michael Sorich, Philence Sampler, Mary McGlynn, Brad Macdonald, Steven Blum, Dave Wittenburg, Mona Marshall, Derek Prince, and more (including Brian "Takato" Beacock as the main character). It's so nice to hear all those familiar voices on the same show again. ^_^

The company that made Beyblade over in Japan also made Battle B-Daman, so it makes sense that they are similiar. It was also good to hear Animaze back and quiet possible better than ever. Takato, Henry, and Tommy appeared today, or at least there VA's did, and you can tell in the previews that Steven Jay Blum is one of the kid VA's. I'll keep watching just to see how this turns out in the long run.

I watched this and taped it and it was interesting. I didnt find it very excieting. it was alot like beyblade and stuff but it was o.k. I really get a laugh at the digimon voices. they re-use them all the time on these jetix shows. and I would love to see what is being edited in the show. I looked all over online for an original japanese episode, subbed or raw but found nothing. if anyone knows the edits just post them here.

An interesting(read whacky) show. Besides seeing the bizzare characters it was fun playing "WHIHTVB:Where Have I Heard That Voice Before".
The battle scenes could use a little work, but overall enjoyable to watch.
A+

Not as good as BeyBlade so far, but then it's only three eps in.
WTF is up with the narrator? She's scary looking.

The series seems to drag to me, but it's ok. So far the first 5 episodes have aired on ABC Family. Since no one seems to post about it though, then we may just make one Battle B-Daman Talkback thread.
