Well, I e-mailed the 4Kids Ent. department and was surprised when they responded. Here's what Mr. Joe Lyons said: "Our contract with Funimation is on a property by property basis. So all are different. Shaman King has been put on hold do we can reevaluate sales and future potential release opportunities."

Well, even if Powerdolls sucks, Kiss Me Kill Me was a winner. A nicely shoujo manhwa with plenty of gender bending antics. Not a title that I thought I was gonna be sold on since that was the only hook, but I was wrong; it's darn entertaining.

Midori's Days vol.1 - The dub is definitely a bit weak, and the composting seems a bit more "digital" in proper DVD resolution, but it's still a fun show that manages to be one of the few good shonen romances.

Clamp no Kiseki vol.1 - Totally worth the wait for the translated version. Very interesting info about CCS in this volume, and the Chess pieces are just precious.

Shojo Beat Issue 0 - The first serious entry into the American shojo magazine market also looks like it's going to be superb! The line up they've got is impressive to start with, but they've even got advertisers already lined up that perfectly give it that shoujo mag vibe; it's like cracking open Ribbon or Nakayos(h)i or Asuka, except I can read it. It's so good, I'm tempted to presubscribe to it.
