The Bruce Timm interview said that Batman's story would be the one with the Injustice Gang. That kinda suprised me but I think its awesome. I'm hoping that essentially the other JLers can't stop the Injustice Gang and that Batman does all the work instead. Watching Batman kick the crap out of the entire Injustice gang would be rad.

oh that would rock.....I can't wait for the Batman-based episode...I wonder if we'll ever see him as Bruce Wayne...or...if we'll ever see Tim Drake or the rest of the crew? :)

Bruce Timm said there'll be no Bruce Wayne, or sidekicks for that matter.
An Injustice Gang ep with Batman as the spotlight character is a great idea, just as long as the Injustice Gang gets plenty of screen time and focus. Every time I see that ad with the Injustice Gang designs, it gets me really pysched up, so I hope they don't tear that down. But Batman vs. seven or eight bad guys is always cool.

Don't forget we're getting another semi-Batcentric ep, the one with him, J'onn J'onzz and Etrigan... aaaahhhh, minimum season requirement of Batman fulfilled.

I hear the complaints from this one coming already. The Batman haters (and beleive me their are legions of them) will be outraged by any episode that shows Batman doing anything that makes him look like a badda** in front of The JL. But I myself will be enjoying every minute of the episode.

Heck yeah! Give me more Batman... and that episode with both Batman and J'onn will be awesome. My two favorites at once....

yeah, i cant wait for the injustice gang story, i hope its the next new eps, like it said on the episode guide!!!
only thing i'm confussed about it that its a batman story. dont get me wrong, thats great news, but since Luthor is the primary villian, why isn't superman the spotlight hero? how bout batman and superman, because i really want to see a showdown between luthor and superman, not luthor and batman. plus, if its the batman focus ep, then we HAD BETTER see LOTS of Joker, seriously, if hes put on the same level as the other members of the injustice gang, i will be very angry. we better see lots of him and Ivy for that matter.
anyway, i think this will be the best arc of the season. peace.

What is everyone's obsession with Batman!?? He had his own series for goodness sake! Haven't we seen Batman in action enough? We've barely even seen the new characters in action...sure I like to see the bat in action, but seeing the others in action is great as well, we never got to see it in the previous present day series. (Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series) The reason I say present day is because we couldn't expect to see them in Batman Beyond or The Zeta Project. I didn't even count Static Shock...an episode with the Justice League on Static Shock would be just kind of stupid...nobody would be paying little old Static any attention...but anyway...that's not what we were talking about...back to the subject: I think Batman's cool too...but don't make him do all the work...I wanna see the other characters in action too.

Well, I think it's cause he's human quite honestly. here's a guy...a real person, no radioactive spiderbite, no mutations, no power ring, no being from another planet with an afinity to Earth's Yellow sun. He's an ordinary guy, with a big bank account, who kicks serious ass. He goes toe to toe with the super-powered super heros, and he's got this nice dark outlook, yet he won't kill. Ever. Not Even The Joker....(which is my biggest gripe against the recent movies...)

Azrael, thank godness, is not part of animated continuity. Frankly, I was surprised that Bane was introduced. Azrael and Doomsday are characters that were introduced to the DC Universe in order to knock the heroes (Batman and Superman) off their pedestals for once. They were merketing gimmics that lasted too long. True, I know very little about them as characters, but I didn't like the mainstream titles when they were introduced. I don't want to see Azrael show up, ever! Doomsday I think I could tolerate, providing they actually did something with him.
As for seeing more Batman in action, yah, I want that too...but my main concern is Wonder Woman. She waited too long to be on TV to just be sidelined. She's Wonder Woman !!! Focus on her, darnet!

Bane kicked ass....in the comics @least.
Basically, he was born in a prison in S.America...was forced to grow up tough, and smart. Anyways, he like Batman realizes that through fear, comes power..so he decides to take out the Bat...figures out that it's Wayne, and does it. BTAS had Bane, still fairly smart, working for the mob. then there was batman & robin...where bane was a moron. I hated that movie. Bane is an A-List villian, Brawn & Brains...to be a mere henchman is unexcusable...

Bane was Ubu for a while, but that was cool...

For those worried that Batman will steel the show fear not.
I heard that aside from the two three-part shows, this will be the only other show that will feature the ENTIRE JL Team. And remember Darkseid is going to use Luthor to form the team, making Luthor the leader so Supes is sure to be prominent. Also, in every episode thus far Timm and company have done a good job giving each character some good moments even if they aren't the focus so don't fret just yet, there is an indication that every member will get a fair amount to do.

The key is to combine the aspects of the three main Doomsday appearances: the unstoppable engine of destruction, the origin as Kryptonian genetic creation and hatred of Kryptonians, and the desire of others to control him.
Doomsday should not be defeatable by simple force; it should require cleverness. IOW, it should require discovering his origin. If possible, they should increase his intelligence, so that he is aware of his nature, and this is part of why he destroys and destroys. Possible useage of POV mind reading could be interesting, to show how Doomsday sees the world, and especially Superman.
