Setting: Naruto and Sakura's wedding day which, in typical anachronistic fashion, is a Western-style one- complete with an actor playing the priest.

Priest actor: "... speak now or forever hold your peace."
Sasuke; "I object!"

Sakura looks mortified. She's long since matured out of her bishounen fixation.

Sasuke: "I just want to say goodbye."

Sakura smiles erratically and looks at Naruto nervously.

Naruto, who presumably is Hokage now or close to it, is just as clueless as ever. "I don't mind... as long as it's goodbye."

Sasuke's eyes sparkle and he grabs Naruto. Sakura really looks mortified now as the second kiss happens.

Sasuke walks off coolly and satisified, to a stunned wedding party. This was better than sitting alone in a room, pondering suicide, in a pathetic yaoi angst fic.

Alone each are only themselves, but with eachother's support, they are far greater, and able to do things that Naruto, even with Kyubi, could not do.


A True love should be between those that truly compliment each other. Such is the Naruto/Hinata love.

Sakura is good for Sasuke, and possibly Lee... but not Naruto.


And Ino..... I dunno yet.

Ten-Ten is definitely for Neji

But there's only one girl in this series that truly fits with Naruto.

Hinata, who has lacked confidence all her life finds herself whenever Naruto is there, either in reality, or in her heart. And Naruto, cursed as he is has put up a facade of humor and audacity that only Iruka-Sensei, Kakashi-Sensei, Konohamaru, and Hinata have ever truly pierced. (And the other three are more on the side of Brotherly love, not romantic love.)

Hinata must convince that Thick Skulled "Number One Loudest Ninja" Naruto that he can love someone.
