Be careful with what you buy though here is what ADV has to say.
"All Sales are Final. Unless otherwise noted,
defective products may be returned within 14 days of
purchase, for EXCHANGE or IN STORE-CREDIT ONLY. NO
REFUNDS. A 10% restocking fee may apply. Shipping
charges are NOT refundable.
Unless specifically noted, products (and the
accompanying packing) may be previously owned, used,
demos or cutouts. Otherwise, products offered through
this sale are clearance and close-out items. As such,
product bar codes may be reconfigured, replaced or
physically altered (including by means of cutting,
punching or drilling). Some products may be open box.
Some products may be delivered without full retail
packaging. Except as expressly provided otherwise,
products are sold as-is."
The barcode may be sliced but so could the DVD itself. Don't expect everything to be in perfect condition, or dare I say USED!!!
I think that's why it's the "Apirl Fools" sale.

Tell us how it is, Dr. O.
$80 off Nadesico set is an eye opener. Already got it though. Having a season of Earth: Final Conflict for $10 does sound tempting.

I think that's why it's the "Apirl Fools" sale. Nah, they did that with their Valentine's and St. Pattie's sales. They're just covering their ass after they forgot to add a disclaimer when they started their Valentine's sale which caused a bunch of people cancelling their orders or returning their stuff.

Now it's 29.98 for Nadesico.
Damn I saw this thread right as I was leaving to go to work and left the 9.99 in my shopping cart, but I guess it timed out and they then updated the prices on stuff.
Shoulda been 15 mins late and gotten Nadesico for 10 bucks...:crying:

Wow! I must have picked it up for $10 just in time. I've never seen this series outside of Giant Robot Week, but I hear it is good.

Yeah, Got Nadesico for 10. Nice, never seen it but even if it doesn't live up to the hype I can Trade it off to the local used store. Unless it really is a messed up Cut-out package or something. Ah well, I expect o enjoy it.
And for kicks, picked up a Menchi plushie as well. He can sit here under my computer at work and make me smile.
Was tempted to take a look at Sakura Diaries since they were so cheap, but I resisted since I really didn't know much about the series.
you guys -> get Nurse Witch Komugi! Aye aye captain! Two volumes for $20 sounds good to me. (ordered them) :anime:
Wow! I must have picked it up for $10 just in time. I've never seen this series outside of Giant Robot Week, but I hear it is good. Yea it's good, funny/lighthearted. Series > Movie. In case you've seen/heard of the Prince of Darkness movie.

I'm still bitter that I decided to wait on MSNadesco until later in the day to order it. By the time I got back online, the price went from $10 to $30. And the thing is, I *knew* when I was looking at the sale early on the 1st, that if I didn't order it then, I'd regret it. argh!!
Nurse Witch I can totally pass on. The episodes I've seen were cute but nothing memorable.
Panyo Panyo mini I'm thinking of picking up just to have something I can annoy people with when ever I feel like it mew!
Can anyone tell me about Steam Detective? Good? Bad? Indifferent?

Steam Detective has a lot of vocal music in each episode. I think its mostly Japanese but it sounds like alternative, kind of like the opening if you've ever heard of it.
I'm interested in getting the cards for Noir.

I managed to get War Planets (shadowraiders) for $5 each! but I accidnetally put an extra number at the end of my zip code, I replied to their responce e-mail correcting it. Would anyone know if this would severly affect me getting my DVDs?
also what was the "surprise" that you'd get if you bought 3 disks?
