Anybody seen the new Slam Dunk dvds?

I can't find the new Slam Dunk dvd's anywherem vol 1 and 2 just came out in U.S., i've seen some of it subbed. Has anybody bought or seen them, i'm very interesting in hearing how the dub is of Slam Dunk.

I saw a copy of Volume 1 at Suncoast.

Judging by the the other 2 Toei releases, the dub sucks by all accounts.

They didn't want to spend money on good VAs, so they just got the crappy ones that Nelvana and DiC use.

In fact, the dubs are SO bad, and the subtitles so awful, that I'm not buying them.

Air Master is one of my favorite shows, but seeing how Toei treats it, it's a travesty that it was done so awfully. Slam Dunk got the same treatment.

1. 'Good Christ' is just an expression. It's only as religious as you interpret it to be. Like saying "Holy jumping Mother of God in a sidecar with chocolate jimmies and a lobster bib!" That's just expressing surprise.

2. I'm sorry, but your text is pink, your diction leaves much to be desired, and you come into threads solely to say how awful the material being discussed is. If you can't take a little criticism, then try and be more tactful in how you post. I realize you're young, but you can never be too young to learn about social graces.

Just some words of wisdom. Trust me, in a few years, you probably won't even remember who Professor Snape is. If you do, then I will be wrong, and apologize. And offer my pity.
