Harlock, Herlock & Albator

Anyway, in an earlier thread, Sailor Chibi Otaku was kind enough to draw my attention (thank you!) to the existence of those long sought-after 1978 Harlock half-hours a.k.a. Albator on French DVD. It's a start, but what I'm now hoping to find out as well is whether those same episodes can be found anywhere known to humankind on Region 1 discs.

Anywhere, that is, except in sky's-the-limit eBay auctions.

The original '78 Harlock TV series isn't out on R1 North American DVD and probably never will be.

There was the ZIV international TV dub but that's the only thing from the original Harlock TV series that was shown this side of the hemisphere.

Of course, miracles can happen... :shrug:
