As part of the Arts of Japan Celebration (more or less coinciding with the Cherry Tree Festival), the Kennedy Center in Washington DC will feature Anime Explosion! Wednesday April 6 at 7:30 pm. among the guests are producer Hiroaki Inoue (Tenchi Muyo, Bubblegum Crisis) and dub actor Chris Patton (Full Metal Panic!) . Tickets are 10 dollars each and can be ordered at:

Hmm, no actual movies shown? I think I'll pass. Good to see anime getting some attention at the festival though.
