View Full Version : Is there any family you know, who are almost like living cartoon characters?
What are any funny, interesting stories or anecdote/s about any real life families (be it your own, one you know or used to, or have read about) with any children, that you found and still find so amusing, that came and come across as kind of like cartoon characters, because of how amusing, how stupid, or how creative or colorful they all are. If so, describe them in detail, saying why.

This is off-topic, unless you hurry and somehow make this about America's Funniest Home Videos. :p
No, I do not know such a family, but, there are families like these characters, I am almost sure, Why? Say there are 50-80 million families in USA, If you count all of the countries that Toonzoners live in we are talking about 150 million families at least, probably more....so, you had better believe there are people like the Simpsons, ect...where? who knows, but they are out there....True life is surely stranger than fiction...

My dad acts a lot like Homer Simpson.
Literature, and toons, sometimes, coincide, The ugly aunt in Cinderella, does, somewhere exist...there are people like that...maybe we know some..But this true story took place about 10 years in Afganistan or Pakistan..(not about a toon, but a play) .Two tribes, for these countries contain many tribal leaders, who control large areas of land, had intense hatrad for each other...Why? who knows...anyway, by a quirk of chance, the son and daughter of two of the leadrers, both somewhere between l6 and 17, met and fell in love...They meant no harm, jsut to be left alone..the leaders, arch enemies. swore they would not allow the marriage, even though they had same religion, both leaders swore they would kill their children to stop this love affair...I do not recall the ending, they may have escaped...but this happened, it was real. Someone wrote something about this 500 years ago...So what is so strange about people resembling toon characters...The guy in Beaty and the Beast, Gaston, who was in love with himself, and the woman fell over him, yea, there are men like that, and women who fall for them..As I said, truth is much stranger than fiction or toons...But I will say this for toons. my fav- Wiley Coyote is a lot smarter than the Road Runner and would have caught him by now..coyotes are very sharp...and many survive well in the city...As far as "Family Guy" Yea, there is someone out there like that..I would bet the mint on it...:D

Sometimes I feel that way about my own family. My dad has three catchphrases: "You're young, you'll get over it" (sometimes he says that about himself, but he's currently in his sixties), "Too bad, so sad," and "What the hell's the story here?"
