Ok, now I'm not a bif expert on Japanese culture but ever since Shin Chan started airing on Jetix somethings been bothering me:
How come, if in Japan everyone apart from the very-very-very rich live in flats does Shin and everyone in the neighborhood live in Houses. I mean non of them seem all that well of at all.

Also, does anyone know what company dubs shin chan, Jetix dosent show the ending credits XD

Middle class families often live in small houses in Japan. That's not unusual. It is very expensive though, and houses are often inconveniently located so apartments have a strong appeal.

Now I haven't seen Shinchan in a while, but perhaps his house appears unusually large. If so that's nothing new. Television families often lead unusually comfortable lives. Look at the luxurious apartment the Friends crew has in Manhattan.

I think they buggered around with a lot of things in ShinChan, I'm not too sure, but for one thing, I'm certain that "Masked Muchacho" was defently called somthing less...dorky...in the JP.
