I just turned it on and it's like... different. I cant stand this new style. It really loses the flair that made me fall in love with it so long ago.

Makes the show kinda bite now.

Yea I know there a lot of change I don't like #1 is Dad I really miss there old house the new one kind of remineds of a house out in the country. Dexter eyes with his glasses of he looks like Barney Rubble they have already established in the old epsode that his eyes are normal when his glasses are off why change it? But there are a few helarious episodes I really like the one were his dad is washing his car and everything bad happens to it. and i'm just glad there new Dexter Episodes

I think the new style fits rather well, just making the zaniness fit even better! I *FINALLY* saw the cartoon in the new style and think it's still very good.

Besides, the main point of the toon is that it still has clever writing, that's what got most of us hooked in the first place.

But, I probably shouldn't speak: before the new eppys Ive seen recently...the last I watched DL was in 1999! :P

Looks like the Johnny Bravo animators have gone to Dexter's L as well. I really don't like the new Dad design,he seems to have 'flattened'.

It's different. It certaintly feels different. (Kind of like the new Home Movies episodes - they're great.. but they feel a tad bit different... which is really fine with me though.)

It looks and feels like the combination of the polished second season and something that came out of the What A Cartoon! show.

The new episodes take a lot of getting used to. But the thing I am wondering about is whether its too simple looking. Try picturing past episodes with a simple looking character design and background, especially the very last episode from 1998 (The one that had EVERY character from the show fighting that big Japanese ax-headed monster.) That episode requires alot of detail and I don't see it being the same with simple designs. Will the new Dexter Episodes be able to do more episodes of that calibur again? I wonder

I'm always freaked out by change...I'll get usd to it eventually.

You're absolutely right though, the charm is still there because the clever writing hasn't changed a bit! :D
