In case ya didn't catch on, there are a few spoilers from past episodes in this post.

All right, ever since Flash said "Can we trust this space-case?" I've been having thoughts about J'onn. He often takes telepathic silence, and quite often takes action without conversing with his teammates (which really has nothing to do with what I'm talking about).

I really started thinking about it in "In Blackest Night, Pt. II"
J'onn: What do you expect to find on this moon?"
Superman: I'm not sure...something's BOTHERING me. Just call it an--"
J'onn: An intuition?
Superman: Exactly.

What I think the deal here is that J'onn scoping out Earth, and reading people telepathically to get information (reading Superman's mind here to get, saying exactly what he was thinking). He may also be keeping files, as seen in JLA: Year One (one of my favorite parts of that story).

Bruce Timm did say there would be an underlying subplot in JL, which could just be the team coming together, but this is just what I've gathered.

Thoughts?

Those are interesting thoughts and they seem to make alot of sense.

Could be. In any case, J'onn is probably my favorite character of the group so far...

Batman is my favorite, but out of the JL regulars J'Onn is my favorite, and that would be awesome if he had some kind of sub-plot going on in every episode. As long as his intentions are good...

I don't think they'd have him turn against the League or his adoptive home planet- but stranger things have happened. So far, Superman, GL, and J'onn are the only members to show up in every episode though, so maybe the running story has something to do with them....

I don't mean like J'onn's plotting against 'em. In JLA: Year One he just kept files on every metahuman because he feared they would kill him. He first got this idea after they killed some aliens, and took pride in it. Sound familiar?

Anyway, this caused all sorts of tension in the League, and not just toward J'onn. I think it'd be cool to see that in animation.
