In this rarely seen Walter Lantz cartune, there is said to be a cut towards the ending. When Homer Pigeon zooms at the Japanese vulture to get the secret message back, he knocks all of the feathers off of the bird. Before we see any results, there is an abrupt cut to the next scene (not to mention the music score) of Homer getting the message and looking down (probably at the vulture) and smiling. Was there some sort of reference to the Japanese flag, or something? Surprisingly, YTV (which this cartoon came off of) aired it, since there's a Japanese stereotype in the first place, but he doesn't talk. He REALLY looks similar to the Japanese vulture at the end of WB's "Crazy Cruise".
