Can anyone tell me when the "World's Finest" animation forums merged with toonzone? I can't remember, and I'd just like to work out how long I've been here. I joined the World's Finest general/misc animation forum in '97 or '98, I think, and came with it when Toon Zone absorbed the place.
Did TZ have forums (or a "general animation" forum) before this merge? I don't know why I didn't bother asking all those years ago.

The forums merged back when TZ turned to vBulliten back in 2001--about a month after you registered actually.
The only remaining core-WF boards is the Writers Forum and DC Animated Universe. The Entertainment Board has been kind of a dual effort, though it still retains some WF elements.
Not sure what forums TZ had before the merger; I didn't come here until WF did. I do believe there was a General Animation forum though...

A month after? Really? Weird. I could've sworn I stayed with them until the final merging. When I originally joined it was just a bare-bones text-only board that didn't even have a registration system.
If you count my time on there, then, I guess I've been on "these" forums for close to 6-8 years now, which worries me, because I still think of myself as "new" and still don't know hardly anyone. I guess it makes sense considering I don't have near as many posts as that much time would usually imply.
