Do you think it's possible Batgirl or Robin would ever pop up in a cameo. I realize the stories are about the JL but do you think any other character from BTAS may pop in for a second? Say Alfred? :eek:

Alfred is the man and I hope to God he shows up as much as possible. But I always found the idea of sidekicks pretty redundant with Batman, who does well enough on his own.

I believe it's already been said that we won't be seeing any sidekicks on the show. They wanna focus on the core team, and as you've probably already noticed, they don't even have the whole team in each episode, let alone even MORE heroes.

Yep, Bruce Timm made that pretty clear when JL was announced (or sometime): No sidekicks or secret IDs (which I do hope are revealed, because it's never been said on the show that Wally West is the Flash or that Shayra Hall is Hawkgirl).

Could Nightwing still be considered a "side kick?" He's been on his own long enough to have escaped from that stigma.

I would not be opposed to Nightwing, but Robin and Batgirl seem a little immature to fit in with the mood of this show. Yes, Flash is immature as well, but he's at least old enough. And yes, Batgirl is only a little younger than Nightwing, but I don't know. She just seemed so two dimensional to me on the TNBA. If you want to restore the Batgirl I loved from B:TAS, I still think she's a redundant character, but I'd like her more. :)

But Nightwing is really cool. I love the costume. Just cut that ridiculously long TNBA hair he had. :p
