I've heard many good things about Talib Kweli. They say he doesn't rap about hoes, money, etc that prevails in today's mainstream rap. I thought his first single "Never Been in Love" from his new album was alright. Many people say his first album, "Reflection Eternal/Train of Thought" was his best. For those who have listened to him, what is your opinion?

I've heard of Nas before. I liked the song "Just A Moment", but normally I don't usually listen to Nas. Alot of people say his debut album "Illmatic" is one of the best rap albums ever. Your opinions?

I haven't really heard of De La Soul, but I've seen them mentioned with being as good as Jurassic 5. Since I like J5, can someone explain who they are?

I really like Talib Kweli...J5 is sometimes compared to him

I just picked up the Mos Def and Talib Kweli Black Star cd. It is really, really good- one of the few raps cds I have picked up since Jurassic 5's PIN. I strongly recommend picking up Black Star
