After airing five episodes in the span of two weeks, the Canadian network Global TV has temporarily shelved Smallville, waiting for the next open slot to air the show. Global TV is expected to permanently add Smallville sometime over the holiday season, or in January. Don't worry though - there are a couple other Canadian channels airing the show. The Newfoundland based channel NTV air airing an episode Sunday at 4:30pm (ET). The Vancouver based net is airing the episode "Hourglass" on Sunday, December 8th, at 1am (ET). The Alberta channel A-Channel[b] airs the show simultaneously with [b]TheWB.
For all the Canadians who get WB affiliates such as KTLA and WPIX, the show will air in it's usual slot.
