It's Monday again. I used to hate Monday, but the JL makes me much happier about it.

Aquaman tonight. The modern one. I wish he was still around in the comics (rotten Superman writers/editors). I am content knowing this will be done by the same team that brought us the JL stories we've seen so far and the Aquaman appearance on Superman TAS. (The teamups were my favorite eps of that show, JL is that same feel, amped up several notches :D )

Aquaman, Mera, Aquababy, Aqualad/Tempest, Tsunami, Neptune Perkins, Vulko, the mermen, Deep Blue, Arion, Atlan, and more. Man, Atlantis is one well defended place. I know we probably won't get to see them all, but we did see a bunch of the GL Corps last story, so one can hope.

Ocean Master, Black Manta, the Fisherman, Triton, what other villains might we see in the background or playing second fiddle like Kanjar Ro did?

Can't wait. 9:30 PM EST - set your VCRs! (my kids don't stay up that late - what was CN thinking with that timeslot?)

Far as I know we get to see Mera and Ocean Master. Family was mentioned, so maybe we'll see something about Aquaman's son. And of course the Atlantis warriors...

While it sounds like your kids will be catching the taped version of Monday's show the next day--remember that it is also on Fri. at 7 and Sun. at 8:30. I dunno if this helps at all...

I could picture Black Manta being a henchman of the Ocean Master, but we didn't see any pictures of him, so I guess he's solo.

I've got to see this two-parter. I wonder if it will continue about the whole "war" angle that was brought about in the "S:TAS" episode, "A Fish Story?"

Don't forget Dolphin! Or did she change her name to Deep Blue? Because I don't know. :)

I was just wondering... what was Atlantis doing during "Secret Origins"? For that matter, what was Atlantis doing during "Apokolips Now!" or "Legacy"? Or even World Wars I & II?

I would guess that Aquaman decided to just have Atlantis lay low (no pun intended ;) ), and wait for the dust to settle and hope they didn't get noticed.

Another question about Atlantis: Just how big IS it? Does it cover half the floor of the Atlantic Ocean, or is it just a city-state? It must have been built deep in a trench or something, and Atlantis must have had a policy of staying out of "surface-dwellers'" radar, to have not been discovered at all until they suddenly appeared in the late 20th Century on "A Fish Tale."

Also, are they going to give any kind of reason why Aquaman looks different? Even if Aquaman just says something simple like, "I needed a change in style, and... oh, the hook. I got into a fight with a shark."

I did forget her. Sorry. Deep Blue is someone else. The daughter of Tsunami and ?? - her father is in question. It could be Neptune Perkins, it could be Atlan, or it could be someone else, depending on the writer.

I also forgot:

Koryak (Aquaman's other son from an early relationship with an Eskimo woman who went on to become a fire elemenal) Corona (the previously mentioned Eskimo woman turned fire elemental), Niaad (the Water Elemental force), Lagoon Boy, Nobel and I'm sure others.

Maybe we'll even see Pirana Man, the villain who got Aquaman to "change his appearance".

Atlantis during Secret Origins? Well...Aquaman cares about Atlantis, and since to the best of my knowledge Atlantis wasn't threatened, he didn't need to do anything.

Not until Superman explains what crawled down his throat, Green Lantern explains why he's now black, and Batman explains what the HELL possessed him to play with the ears.

Actually, Deep Blue was revealed to be Aquaman's half-sister! Their mutual father was Triton, I think.
