Since there was a thread for bad animated movies, I thought of making one for the best animated flicks.
What's your picks for the best animated movies?
Mines are The Record of lodoss war
The Secret of NIMH

Tiny Toon Adventures: My Summer Vaction
I'll come up with more, don't worry. :D

Hey,
What about Transformers: The Movie??? That movie is awesome! I will always remember it as THE movie that got me into both sci-fi, superheroes, and cartoons.
G.I. Joe: The Movie isn't as good, but it's still worth putting on the list, in my opinion, since Sunbow Productions and Toei Animation made both cartoon movies. (I guess you could think of them as "sister" movies.)
I also like Mask of the Phantasm, World's Finest, Return of the Joker, and Secret Origins. (World's Finest, Secret Origins, and Return of the Joker (uncut!) are supposed to be coming out on DVD next year! Woo hoo! :D )
I also like Dragonball Z's three main movies: Dead Zone, The Tree of Might, and World's Strongest.
Did I miss anything?

I really liked Titan A.E personally, I thought it was a pretty descent movie.
The Prince of Egypt was also pretty good.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust: Was another extreamly well designed movie, with cutting edge animation, and an interesting story.
I also liked Mulan, though some people didn't.

in no particular order:
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (a very well done Batman film overall)
Return of the Joker (great Batman Beyond story, dark, fills in some of the gaps in the past)
An American Tail (good music, good story, touching)
The Land Before Time (same as American Tail, two very good Don Bluth films too.)
The Little Mermaid (The movie that started Disney's Golden era. It was big when it first came out, and as a kid I loved it when I first saw it in the theaters. New character designs from the movies before it, good story overall, and great music)
Toy Story and Toy Story 2 (heh, I don't think I need to speak for these movies. ;) )
other favorites of mine:
Sleeping Beauty
Robin Hood
The Stone in the Sword
Balto
Secret of the Sword
Wakko's Wish
Mulan
Tarzan
Samhaine

One of my favorites (that I'm actually including in the whopping 30 min presentation on animated films) that I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet, as it was always the talk of the town on the old boards, is The Iron Giant. It was a great film. The ending made my roommate cry.
Also, I have to include MotP, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Akira, and The Emporer's New Groove (probably one of the funniest movies Disney made).
Tonight I get to watch all of these movies (you'd think that'd be a good thing...)

Iron Giant
Yellow Submarine
Princess Mononoke
Kiki's Delivery Service
And while I haven't seen them in a looong time
Snow White
Pinocchio

Reading through other people's posts, I got some more:
Yellow Submarine (don't know how I could have forgotten that, especially after the George Harrison incident [WAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!])
Kiki's Delivery Service (nice story, funny, touching, etc.)
An Americal Tail & An American Tail: Fievel Goes West (my younger years revolved around this movie, from Saturday night viewings to a towel with Fievel's picture)

Ah! Emperor's New Groove. Can't forget that one. And the Nightmare Before Christmas...I have a lot of favorite animated movies, okay?! :D
Akira:
I heard of that somewhere before...something about wrinkled faces. {*shrugs*} I thought it was live-action, not animated...then again, I've never seen it, nor have I seen a poster or picture from it.

It's the film that opened up the market for "anime" in America. Something about a kid who's used as a test experiment but goes wacko and blows stuff up.
