Christmas Wake Up Time

Vote, when was the earliest you've ever gotten up for Christmas morning. Me? 4AM! :eek:

I don't remember, but in recent years I'd just assume sleep late!

Well, it's a bit complicated for me:

Eveyr year we all go home to celebrate Christmas. I get up at around 5am to get my stocking, then sleep until 6:30. Then at 6:30 we all go to the barn to do chores. We're in by around 8:30am to open presents.

I would guess 6 AM. That sounds right to me. Plus, I know that when I have tried to get my family up super-extra early for Christmas, they have told me that it's too early and to go back to bed. And the rule is that you can't open presents without the rest of the family, which I think is a good rule. You want everyone else to see how cool your presents are and be jealous when you open them! :D

I used to get up early when I was younger. The last few years, I've been sleeping in relatively late. That's probably what I will do this year too. I'll probably get up at 10 or 11.

I think the earliest I've gotten up is around 6. Lately, I just sleep thru like it's a regular day.

Now that my sister and I are all grown up (and turned out to be night owls), it's usually ten in the morning before we get around to it.

The older I get, the later I sleep. So I pretty much sleep till noon on Christmas day.

The earliest I ever got up at was probably 4 AM, but I do remember a couple times not being able to fall asleep at all.

We were always alowed to wake up whenever we wanted to go out to the tree, size up the presents, and get our stockings. But then we'd usually have to wait until 5 or 6 to wake up the parents and open the gifts. But i remember one year when i got up around 2 or 3. Christmas Eve was never a good sleeping night when i was younger.

once as a little child i woke up around 4 and my parents hadnt put out all the presents yet(the presents santa brings." i thought santa wasnt going to come and i was so tramatized by it i always sleep later, to give my parents time to get every thing ready

Shoot I get up at 3:00a.m. on Christmas Eve ( about the time I get up just about every day) I dont get to sleep till almost 48 hours later.

I usually wake up around 6 or so. One time I woke up around three or so and found all my presents out in the living room. That was also the year I found out that there was no "Anual Gift Giver", as he was called on the Simpsons. Talk about a bummer....

Stay up till four, sleep till six, open presents then. Calvin from CLVIN AND HOBBES had nothin' on me being annoying to parents. Heck, I coulda given him lessons! That was as a youth...

I think the earliest i ever got up was 6AM. But i usually get up between 7 and 8. But I have this tradition of getting up early, going downstairs to check if the presents were there, and then going back up to sleep.
