I saw this for the first time on JUNE BUGS around 7PM, and I was wondering, was there an edit. I knew ABC cut out all results of the explosions, but was there something cut out after the second grenade explodes on Wile E.? Just wondering, since there have been a lot of weird edits during the marathon, including one that nobody mentioned, "Roman Legion Hare". In the original, Bugs says at the end, "Oh well! As the Romans say: 'Plurbius Uranium'" (or something like that). Also, there was a scene in "Human" that I'm surprised wasn't edited (listen to the soundtrack when Bugs goes into the elevator).

Why'd they cut that out of ROMAN-LEIGON HARE? And what was with the dumb edit to the end of HARE SPLITTER? Looks like CN's adding even more entries to the "inexplicable cuts" list. You'd think that after showing HARE TRIMMED uncut, they'd be a little more lenient.

Hmmmm....well, I liked "To Hare is Human". That may be one of my faves thus far. If there was a cut it certainly wasn't very obvious. Then again, I had not seen this before, at least not recently enoguht to remember it. The others though, boy, what'll they think of next? I wonder if there's a wise-guy over at the WB shipping room?

I checked that scene, and I didn't notice anything in the soundtrack. Can you please explain? Are you talking about the part where Bugs dances in the elevator after Wile E. gets blown up when looking in the bag.

I haven't seen the CN version yet... but I just checked my copy from MERRIE MELODIES. After first grenade explodes, Wile E. says "Oh no!" Then the second one explodes and we cut to Bugs in his rabbit hole examining his toaster: "One of these days I'm going to have to get that spring fixed!"

Well, that was complete then. All of that was in there. And, uh, what's wrong with a song? He sings "Sweet Georgia Brown", right?

"Sweet Georgia Brown" was a famous song from the thirties (I think) that was sung a lot by black caricatures in cartoons, one good example is "The Isle of Pingo Pongo".

It is a very well known song even today although many do not know the title. It is the famous Harlem Globetrotters theme.
