Your Own Cross-Cartoon "Wacky Races" Contestants?

For all those who recall the old Hanna-Barbera cartoon "Wacky Races" (and those who don't: a show from the late 60's featuring a race between 11 goofy customized race cars--one of the racers, Dick Dastardly, constantly tried to cheat with no avail), thought this'd make for a fun question: out of any cartoon, which 11 characters/sets of characters would you like to see racing against each other?

My choices:

If designed to match the original Wacky Races race cars' themes/characters:
1. Speed Racer, in the Mach Five
2. Cyborg and Beast Boy, in the "T-Car"
3. Mojo Jojo, in a "Robo Jojo" tank
4. Rocky and Mugsy ("Looney Tunes") and their gang (other LT/MM gangster-types?), in a 1930's-style limo
5. Gyro Gearloose ("DuckTales") in some sort of goofy cutomized car car
6. The cast of "Totally Spies" in a sports car convertible (per Penelope Pitstop's "the glamor gal of the gas pedal" nickname, outdated as it may sound)
7. Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, in Fred's car
8. Patty and Selma Bouvier in some appropriate car (as Homer called them, the "Gruesome Twosome" ;-) )
9. Launchpad McQuack ("driving" his red biplane)
10. Eustace and Courage the Cowardly Dog (in Eustace's truck)
11. Dick Dastardly and Muttley (for old times' sake---though they're free to update their tricks for 2005 standards, if they wish...)

If centered around Cartoon Network (which made a lot of this easier):
1. Batman, in the Batmobile
2. Cyborg and Beast Boy, in the "T-Car"
3. Mojo Jojo in a "Robo Jojo"
4. Rocky and Muggsy and their gang
5. Dexter, in his car from the "Dexter's Wacky Races" parody
6. The cast of "Totally Spies"
7. Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, in Fred's car

I like the second CN list, but I would make some adjustments on it.

8. Grim and Mandy ("Grim and Evil"), in a creepy-looking car
They already have a creepy car: Grim himself. See "Grim Kart 3000" where Grim transforms into a car that Mandy races.

9. Daffy Duck and Porky Pig (maybe in Porky's car from "Thumb Fun", or some 50's type car)
I'd have it be Dodgers and Cadet, and they're car can alternate between a regular machine and the 3D protecerate ship for a few seconds.

11. The Aqua Teen Hunger Force (in either their neighbor's (stolen/swiped) Pontiac Firebird, or their "Danger Cart" with Meatwad somehow hyper-charged)
The Danger Cart. Meatwad is Hyper charged because Shake put the Giant Engine on Meatwad from "Kidney Car" to speed him up, and torture him at the same time.

Tenchi Masaki & harem in either a "land mode" Ryo-ohki or something Washu whipped up

Knight Sabers with all their Motoslaves (hooked up into one vehicle).

Voltron Force with their lions (ditto).

Ham-Ham gang in a cute little contraption made by Maxwell, Panda, and any other Ham-Hams with building talent

Aeon Flux (if she counts as anime) in some weird gizmo designed more for combat than racing

Vash the Stampede in a vehicle that combines futuristic gadgets with a Wild West look

Gundam Wing boys in a car that incorporates Gundam tech (like Gundanium plating in case someone tries to smash into them or something)

Cowboy Bebop crew in a car that has gadgets that could be used for catching criminals...or stopping rivals (making them potentially the Dick Dastardly of the series)

Alexander (Reign: The Conqueror) in some nasty war machine

One Piece cast in a pirate-themed car

Devilman/Akira Fudo in a Satanic-looking device

Okay..anime wise:

1) Sailor Moon cast in this car with a moon on the hood.
2) Cowboy Bebop crew on Julia's car (if any anime fans know, Julia's car was shown in one of the last episodes, when Faye finally meets Julia).
3) Anybody from Zoids series...with their zoids (no brainer).
4) Domon and Rain from G Gundam with the small and compact car that turns into the cockpit for Domon's Shining Gundam.
5) The cast of Naruto in this....van....where everyone has their sopts to use fire jutsu.
6) Speed Racer in the Mach Five (sorry, Brainatra, I had to take yours).
7) Main cast for all three Dragonball series with a Capsule car (ones where who press a button on this pill, and poof! A brand new car!).
8) Someone in Initial D (haven't seen the anime, but since it has racing incorporated in it, why not?).
9) Cast of Gatekeepers and GK21 in the AEGIS car (okay, I don't know the exact name, but I'm talking about the one Ayane and Miu found early in the OAV series).
10) Karasumaru Ooji from School Rumble with his bike (seriously, he can peddle so fast he'll put Loius Armstrong to shame).
11) Um....well I have to agree with Planeteer with the cast of Hamtaro in this anime cast.

Now..if we can add anime-like shows in....

Replace Sailor Moon cast with the main cast of Avatar with Appa the flying bison or Zuko's....warthogs (?)...

Replace cast of Naruto with Totally Spies.

And that's it.

In anime, there's already two Wacky Races-inspired cartoons that have been made (both being OAV's):

1. One that features a race between all the villains from the Time Bokan series of shows.

Part I of SD Gundam Mk IV was a big spoof of Wacky Races, right down to two Gundam villains that fill in the role of Dick Dastardly and Muttley, including one of them wearing a costume and acting like Muttley and in a purple 00 machines.

Kim Possible , Ron Stoppable, and Rufus, in the Self Automated Tracking Intelligence (S.A.T.I,) which includes Ejector Seats, Laser Cannon, and comes in a variety of Colors and Designss.

Also Dr. Drakken, Shego and Mortor Ed (Drakken's Cousin in Steal Wheels) in the Doomvee 2.0.

Also Fred Rogers, and Daphne Black in the Mystery Machine (along with Velma and Scooby and Shaggy..)

and what about Kiva, Coop, and Jaime in the Megas CLR?

If I were picking Looney Tunes characters, I'd have gone with Gossamer the big red hairy carpet-thing ("Big Gruesome") and the Peter Lorre-esque mad scientist ("Little Gruesome").

IIRC, those would be the aliens from "Space Jam." Since LTs have actual gangster figures, I'd probably stick with Rocky, Muggsy, and some gang of theirs (a bunch of anonymous hoods)...

If picking comic strip characters, I'd have gone with "Get Fuzzy""'s Bucky (Dick) and Satchel (Muttley)... Bucky seems way more likely to cheat than Calvin would...plus, he's pretty "wacky" as it is. :-)

1. Experiment 626 (aka Stitch) from Lilo & Stitch creating some anti-gravity machine that "flies" very close to the ground (he's intelligent enough to build such a thing).

2. Senbe Norimaki (from Akira Toriyama's Dr. Slump manga/anime series) creating some really exotic contraption that might just win the race, until (as usual) something goes worng. :sweat: (If you've read that manga series or seen the anime show you know what I mean. ;) )

1. Zim and GIR in the V00T cruiser. (I know I stole that, but being the ZIM fanatic I am, I cannot help myself!)

2. Cyborg?!?!? That's right, in that freaky souped up car you see occasionally on Teen Titans!

3. Batman. That's right, Batman, in the Batmobile.

4. Kaneda from Akira. Yes, by the way, I am out of my mind. He'd be on a motorcycle (naturally).

5. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup of the PowerPuff girls in a car version of DYNAMO.

6. Brick, Boomer and Butch of the RowdyRuff boys (see episode with same title) in a menacing looking three person motorbike.

7. Dib Membrane (Invader ZIM) in Tak's ship from the later episodes!

8. Darth Vader (WTF? He isn't even from cartoons!) in his TIE fighter!

9. Samurai Jack in a horse-drawn chariot.

10. Goku and Gohan in two, giant, floating Dragon Balls. (snicker, chortle, chuckle. I don't like that show, obviously. ;) )

11. "The Batman" in a convertable. His abilities? None, but he sure has a cool stereo!
