Normally, Adam Tyner starts this thread, but I have no idea where he is and I couldn't wait to post. Of course, the main DVD for this week is The Incredibles! I know a lot of you, including adam himself should definately pick this up.:D This morning at Circuit City, a huge line formed outside the store before it opened at 10:00 this morning. It was well worth waiting 20 minutes for this fantastic movie!:D
Oh, today, I also picked up A Bug's Life. It was only $12.99 at Best Buy, so I couldn't resist.:p
At least now, my Pixar collection is finally complete!:D
So, what are you getting this week?;)
I hope Adam doesn't mind that I started this for him.:)

I got:
The Incredibles
Monsters, Inc.
Smallville: Season 2
Fruits Basket Vol. 1
Tenchi Universe Vol. 1
Adam is away. So is Penguin. Eeep. :o
Shame, Adam would no doubt be thrilled to hear I bought my own sets of Angel season 1, 2 and 3, instead of mooching from my brother. Since each set costs £70 each here, I've avoided it in the past. However, in some random DVD shop, some fool was selling them for a mere £23.99 each. So basically, 3 for the price of one. When I get more cash, I'll probably pick up some Buffy sets. Conviently, seasons 1, 2 and 3 are cheaper, and those are the only ones I care about. :)
And finally, after many months of searching... and longing for it... I finally recieved Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgandy and Wake Up Ron Burgandy as a birthday present.

I got the Incredibles, too. I couldn't wait to see the Jack Jack short, and wasn't disappointed! The extras on disk 2 are really fun to watch... no spoilers from me, though. You gotta see it yourself.

I picked up the Incredibles DVD at Best Buy yesterday, as well as a collectible (limited edition?) lithograph courtesy of their 'reward zone' policy. First off, that litho's beautiful, so if you're a card carrying reward zone member, make sure to get this.
I haven't had the time to watch the whole set yet, but I'm very pleased with what I've seen. I watched the first half of the movie on the ol' computer, and it looks much better there than it does on my TV, which gives off a distracting 'digital' picture of it (especially the rooftop meeting scene in the beginning). I haven't listened to the commentaries, but if it's as good as the Iron Giant's, I'm sure I'll be pleased. I saw most of the documentaries and the deleted scenes, and I really enjoyed those.
I can't wait to see all there is to see in this set, except if it's of Edna Mode.
