Hey everyone, this is my first post here, wish me luck!

So it looks like DG delivers great news once again. Since I don't know much about the JL comics, can anyone tell just from the names of the JL episode titles what they'll be about (since they're probably based on some comics)?

And if so, please post your knowledge or speculations! For example, I'm sure the Injustice for All episode will be about the Injustice Gang, but what could the Brave and Bold or Legends be about?

Thanks!

Brave and Bold is supposed to be a GL/Flash focused episode involving Gorilla City and Gorilla Grodd

Legends is supposed to involve the pseudo-JSA

Actually the "new" group in the Legends episode has the initials J.G.A.. I wonder what that "G" stands for...Here are our educated guesses:

Legends - JGA Story
Brave & The Bold - GL & Flash VS Gorilla Grodd
Savage Time - Season fine VS Vandal Savage
War World - Superman VS Mongul
Injustice For All - JL VS The Injustice Gang
Paradise Lost - Wonder Woman!
Fury - Hawkgirl
A Knight of Shadows - Batman & Etrigan
Metamorphosis - Metamorpho

So...that's the rundown!

And we also had a previous thread with this same subject:

And Welcome to the Boards, Houman!!

Let's sum up all that we know, shall we?

Secret Origins (#1-3) & In Blackest Night (#4-5)
We've seen them.

The Enemy Below (#6-7)
Features Aquaman, his family, and the Ocean Master.

Injustice For All (#8-9)
Features the Injustice Gang (comprised of Lex Luthor, Joker, Star Sapphire, Copperhead, Cheetah, Solomon Grundy, Ultra-Humanite, and the Shade). Luthor is the main character.

Paradise Lost (#10-11)
Features Themyscira and a threat from Felix Faust.

War World (#12-13)
Superman gets abducted by Mongul and forces him to participate in gladitorial combat on Warworld. Also features Draaga, a character who Superman will defeat, but will deny an honorable death to.

The Brave and the Bold (#14-15)
The Flash and Green Lantern vs. Gorilla Grodd in Gorilla City.

Fury (#16-17)
???

Legends (#18-19)
Possibly a time-travel episode, it features the stand-in Justice Society.

A Knight of Shadows (#20-21)
Formerly The Demon Story, it features Etrigan the Demon, Jason Blood, and a villain named Mordrid (probably has something to do with Etrigan's Camelot roots).

Metamorphosis (#22-23)
Features the origin of Metamorpho, with Simon Stagg as the villain.

The Savage Time (#24-26)
Could feature the Blackhawks (the jet pilots), Blackhawk (a specific hero from a 1940s serial), Sgt. Rock, and Steven Trevor (Wonder Woman's golden age love interest). It definately features Vandal Savage as the villain.

I really wish that the Batman episode didn't have to be about Etrigan. It's not like he's strictly a Batman character. Plus I read somewhere that the whole thing was going to take place, or have flashbacks to the Arthurian times. Still, I love Medieval stories and Batman, so I guess I'll like it! Still, it would have been nice to see something hinting at Ra's existance...

Fury will spotlight Hawkgirl and the Knight of Shadows will spotlight Batman. Since he's run into Etrigan twice already, he'll be called on to help defeat the Demon (according to my source).

wow...that sounds exciting. I wonder if aquagirl (from the JLU episode The Call, aquaman's daughter) makes an appearance?

SWEET! Can't wait for this! I'm surprised the Injustice Gang story is so soon, but no complaints from me! Next to "The Brave and the Bold," that's the one I'm looking forward to most!

Yea Those seem exciting.

On the Injustice Gang
It sounds like the old Legion Of Doom.

I highly doubt it since the Call takes place roughly 40 years in the future. I dont think his daughter was that old.

CORRECTION! Bruce Timm says that "Injustice for All" is the Batman spotlight episode! Hmmm...then "A Knight of Shadows" will likely include all the JLers.

Mordred was the son of Arthur, and was a pretty evil guy in a Darth Vader-y kinda way. You could really empathize with him for why he was a bad guy, but at the same time you weren't really rooting for him. I'm guessing that Etrigan has dealt with him in the distant past, and that will somehow figure into the story.

Crap. I mean, I'm glad that Batman is getting the spotlight, but I thought that Lex Luthor was the spotlight of Injustice For All.

I'm just glad that we get stories on the two characters who I think really need them: WW and Hawkgirl. Especially Hawkgirl, who has been the subject of a lot of debate around here. I hope that our questions are answered. It is too bad that we have to wait so long to see them.

Flash could also use his own ep. to a lesser degree, but I'm hoping that we'll have some good insight into him during The Brave & The Bold.

Definatly! And season 2 sounds even better (as you'll all read in tomorrow's Bruce Tim interview). I think this season is really an establishing season, hence the spotlight episodes. Next season everything is gonna go nuts!!

Looking forward to news on the second season. I love JL stories that are just insane and huge, a major reason I loved Grant Morrison's JLA. It's a great time to be a comic book geek...
