This show is begining to impress me more and more with it's story. At first it wasn't that good, and it just seemed like a cheap Sci-Fi show akin to the stuff back in the 50's, but toward the end of the 1st season where they encounter a race of beings called Magogs (think of them as really mean Ewoks) and their worldship (a ship that has an entire solar system inside of it) which is approaching the populated cosmos. Plus some very interesting subplots are developing. Things are getting really interesting, I just hope the show holds out and gets better instead of just getting worse.

Just because Gene Rodenberry wrote it, doesn't mean it's automatically good. I think that the reason he chunked the scripts for "Earth: Final Conflict" and "Andromeda" is because that's when he was brainstorming for what would finally be "Star Trek."

I'll admit it... I'm a Star Trek fan (well, the TNG-DS9-Voyager years anyway) , but I don't care for any of his other "post-mortem" creations.

They seem like an attempt to cash in on Star Trek's success to me. But hey, if other people like them, then more power to 'em... after all, both shows give many people jobs, and it's a free country, so you can like whatever the heck you want to. :D

I don't care for most of Gene Rodenberry's stuff. I was a fan of TNG back in my high-school/early college years, but once shows like Babylon 5 and Farscape came along, I realized how uninteresting the Star Trek universe has become to me.
