Okay, I have a nice, new Christmas logo and background for the TTTP... but when should I put them up?? I remember putting up the Christmas stuff up last year in late Nov. and then got angry complaints saying that I put them up too early.
I am not going to make the same mistake again. I will leave it up to you intelligent people in the audience to tell me when I should decorate the board for the holidays.

How about right around now? It's December 2nd, and the Christmas season officially starts the day after Thanksgiving.

You know if Sveven "Scrooge" Dvorking was here, he'd vote for "Bah Humbug!"

NO NO NO, people, NOOOO!
Dec. 8 is my vote. The 15th would be too late, but the 8th seems right to me. I need December to just be December for a bit before the Christmas stuff starts. That's about the time it feels right, like it's really the season. Once that time comes, I get REALLY into Christmas stuff; songs, lights TV specials, theme shows, and, of course, cartoons.
Could we at least split the difference? :D

I agree with the Christmas season officially starting right after the US Thanksgiving (Heck, I worked in retail for 10 years and they literally start receiving stock in August!!!)
So I'm officially starting with my avatar, see? :)

The mall I work at begins Christimas decorating the first of November. I don't think now would be too early at all.

I say go for it - our tree is up, the presents are piling up and our kids are watching the Christmas cartoons... ;)
(...and right now I have "You're a mean one, Mr Grinch" going thru my head... )

After voting, then viewing the results, I hereby claim the title of Grinch.

I won't go so far as calling myself Grinch, but I'll just note that malls and stores starting Christmas too early(and I mean by Halloween, nevermind after-Thanksgiving) is common, based on inducing Xmas shopping. It's very subjective, but I usually feel like Xmas by about a week into December. I like to wait that long to put my tree up, and keep it up until after New Years.
It does look nice, in any case. :)

Who voted for Bah Humbug?
How come the new background doesn't work for me. I still get the Daffy one.

Never mind, it works for me now. The background is very nice. How come it finally works when I mention it doesn't work? This happened the last few times you put in a new background as well.
