OK who here other than me thinks M.H. would make an awesome Joker in a live action film?

He's a great voice for the character, but I don't think he'd have the screen presense to make a great live action Joker.

The only problem there is that Mark is way to short for it, and audiences of live action movies think of him so much as Luke that they probably wouldn't accept it.

I love Mark Hammil though. He brought together two favorite characters of mine from total opposite ends of the spectrum.

You *have* to be cool if you can be both Luke Skywalker *and* the Joker.

Have you seen Mark Hammill? He has like NO hair... He's way to old looking to be a live action Joker. What I want to see is what he looks like in the voice studio... I just can't picture Luke Skywalker making that voice.

--the guy really gets into it in the booth. His face goes red, his eyes bug out, and the tendons in his neck bulge.
Hamill's also done the voice of the Green Goblin in the Spiderman series, Buzz Buzzard on Woody Woodpecker, and Larry 3000 on Time Squad.

Well as the Joker I'm sure he'd be doused in makeup and possibly fake hair as well, so I'm not sure whether it'll matter much whther the audience sees him as Luke or not. I think they'd be easily swayed. That said, I'd like to see Hamill try a live action Joker since he does the voice so well, but I'm not sure he can pull it off either.

Actually, he was the Hob Goblin in the Spiderman cartoons. :)

I really wanna see a tape of Hammil as the Joker. He apparently gets into it more than anyone else, as explained above. But him as the live-action Joker? Could work. If you've seen "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," you know what I mean.

I never finished watching Jay and Silent Bob. I left the theater coz it got too ...vulgar for me... to say the least. But I want to rent it so I can fast-forward and see Mark Hammil.

I'd love to see Hammil as the Joker live action. With all the movie special effects technology today, they can fix old Luke Skywalker wherever he needs it. I still wish all the voice actors would be put in a Batman Movie. Then we could stop griping over who'd be best as who. In my book:

Batman/Bruce = Kevin Conroy
Terry McGiness = Will Friedle
Joker = Mark Hammil

And everyone else. I'm mean, have you seen the guy who does Penguin's voice? He's sooo short! And he wears glasses too.
