Dark Twilight Storm

I walked down
familar streets
I saw the Dark,
familar road

I laughed with friends
all by my side
But they do not know
the inside of me
They Know the happy
cheerful girl

The winkd blew strong,
hard and cruel
I saw the twilight
dusk ever near

I saw people
happy and sad
I saw people
laughing and fighting
I do not know
where I belong
If I do

I looked up
The sky so blue,
I looked down
The ground so dark.

I looked ahead
My future there?
I looked behind
my past lay
awake and cold
a part of my mind
that never strays.

I closed my eyes

This world where
saddness and dispair rule
lives on in my past
But I will
make it through
this dark twilight storm

Finally

It took so long


I’m out


On the streets.


The city lights


Gleam and shimmer


In twilight.


I rule
