I saw a trailer for Crying Freeman on a preview DVD and the story looked interesting. Unfortunately, none of my friends own it or have seen it so the only way I can check it out is if I buy the first DVD (I have a 56K connection, so downloading isn't an option). I don't want to spend money on the series only to find out that it sucks; so I figured that asking for opinions here would be my best bet. So, without spoilers, I'd like you guys to tell me...

1) if you liked it and thought it was worth your money.
2) How many episodes it has.
3) Did you like the dub?
4) Does the series have an ending? (I wouldn't want to get into it only to be left hanging)
5) How graphic does it get? The show is about an assasin and the trailer implied that the show also has some sex scenes. I don't mind sex and violence if they're part of the story; but too much of it makes me kinda squeemish

No, it's not good. The story takes the bare bones of the manga, subtracts any explanation, keeps the violence, and the result is you not caring about any of the characters.

erm...is it of any quality? no..is it of any entertainment value, yes but only mildy. It has action, plenty of fandservice, violence, tatooed mafia characters, james bond-esque adventures. But its pretty po-faced and dull character wise. Freeman is just Kenshiro from fist of the north star iwth less humour and most of the women seemed to be obscessed with sex and the men all obscessed with honour and killing.

But i've only seen one episode of it..i owuldnt waist any money on it if theres something better ya want.
