Were these episodes made at the same time as the previous episodes or after? It seems that it would be possible to do it considering that all those 5 minute chapters would only add up to about half of a regular cartoon's season. And is Genndy Tartakosky on board for these episodes or is he off doing something else? We haven't heard from him in a while.

And yes that was two questions.

I'm assuming by Season 2 you mean Volume 2.

Well Geddy got contracted to make two seasons of Clone Wars awhile ago, they were so popular that CN ordered a third season.

Volume 1 is basiclly the first two seasons
Volume 2 is the third (and upcoming Season)

Yes, Geddy worked on the third season as well as the first two.

I doubt theyll be any more after this, since Season 3 leads on to epiosde 3.

I think Geddy is leaving CN for good now anyway

Volume II was started shortly after Volume I finished airing, since it was so successful. Genndy's still on board.

While this may be the last Clone Wars project, Lucasfilm has said many many times that they want to try and set up new Star Wars cartoons, most likely with Genndy at the lead.

I doubt we'll see animated versions of Episodes I-VI, but we might see an animated adaptation from a novel or a brand new creation.
