Today's Beetle Bailey cartoon (12/1/2001) features General Halftrack sitting at a bar, obviously lit out of his mind, with his arm around Bugs Bunny.

This is one of several references to Warner Bros. cartoons that Mort Walker (who creates the strip) has featured in the strip over the years.

OK. I scanned it for you. Pretty funny. In fact, I believe this is a brilliant double-reference, to both Bugs Bunny and "Harvey".

A lovely little comic... It also APPEARS to be a reference to to the Jimmy Stewart classic "Harvey" and even to the bar-scene in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"... In my humble Turtlesque opinion anyway.
