There's A New Adult Swim Game Out Now On The Site. The Second Game Based On An Anime Series.

It's very good actually. It's sort of like an RPG as you progress from area to area working with the miltary. You get to control either Ed or Al (as you switch between them) using either phsyical or alchemy attacks, collecting money and destroying enemies. So far I wasn't able to get past area 2 though, but I only tried playing once.

It doesn't work for me. And neither does Demon Tournament. AS = lose.

THe game is horribly unbalanced. Ed is pointless to use when Al can plow through enemies so easily. The enemies are seriously overpowered in levels 2 and 3, especially those lizard things when 5 are on screen at start shooting at you.

AS needs to go back and fix those problems seriously. Also, the repeptitve music did get annoying. Seems like with a little work, this could easily be a GBA game though. Harkens back to the side-scroling fighter tradition of Fatal Fury and Streets of Rage, but still needs work.

You can replay each region. I leveled up to 3 in the first region before I tackled the second region. Each new level up gives you more attack points and more wicked new powers. You can level up past 10 (not saying how many is the max.)

I got about a minute into it until it crashed Firefox. Oh well. Still better than the PS2 game.

pffffffffft...played great but the site gets blocked by the 3rd stage.
Edward Elric seems really weak compared to Alphonse. i seem to keep passing the game with Al.

I'm inclined to agree - I got up to the third area when I was overwhelmed by the lizards. Really messed up, too - I actually like the game, but AS needs to fine-tune it a little; no one's going to play if it's too hard to beat.

I actually found it really easy to beat, maybe I've just played too many video games

Once you get to the 'dungeon' type levels, just level up there, even if you die. Don't use alchemy (unless you really need to) to save up for the next level. When Al and Ed are level fifteen and up, most chamiras are go down in one punch.

It's a nice little preview of the 13th Laboratory episodes coming up on AS.
