São Paulo - SP, Brazil, March 5, 2005.

Hello, friends from Toon Zone, Yesterdaylanders, Memory Laners and HB-fans from the whole world (and a special hello to Joseph & Jayne Barbera, Iwao Takamoto, David Kirschner, Buzz Potamkin, Fred Seibert, Robert Alvarez, Ed Benedict, Jerry Eisenberg, Bob Singer and all that people from Hanna-Barbera/Cartoon Network)!

I saw, several times, in a Yogi Bear-related home page (http://web.archive.org/web/20000301012342/www.aristotle.net/~cgsports), a picture showing Yogi and Boo Boo being chased by Ranger Smith, with Cindy appearing on the background, and seeing the chase. The picture is the following:

http://web.archive.org/web/20000301012342/www.aristotle.net/~cgsports/yogi7.jpg

Seeing this picture by the drawing style, it seems that was drawn by David Feiss (the same who brought us Cow and Chicken and I.M. Weasel).
If John Kricfalusi (Ren & Stimpy) didn't direct the new Yogi's toons in 1999, David Feiss would be the ideal cartoonist to direct these new Yogi's toons.
And what about your commentaries, referent to what I've written above?
Please, send them to this forum. I'll be thankful.
Well, that's it!
Ciao!

Cheers from this faithful friend who always writes 4 U,

Attention, HB-fans! The Hanna-Barbera building is saved from the demolition (http://www.hannabarbera.org (http://www.hannabarbera.org/))! Let's continue to preserve this world-wide patrimony of the animation!

LONG LIFE FOR WILLIAM HANNA & JOSEPH BARBERA!

Eh, I don't think they should touch Yogi anymore. The John K cartoons were kind of surreal and trippy, but they weren't really "Yogi" in my opinion. They were more of a spoof of Yogi. Those pictures are drawn as either rough sketches or design tests. Mr. Feiss is a great artists and I'm sure he could handle another show with a new idea.

If a studio cannot handle a classic character right, they should not use them. Loonatics, I'm looking at you.

I think John K handled Yogi Bear quite well. His Yogi cartoons are quite funny!:D

Yes I agree. The cartoons were funny and well done, but they were simply NOT classic Yogi. They were a reinvention of the character in my opinion.
