Can anyone tell me in which episode (s) Daffy Duck is about to be hit by something (a falling safe??) and he says, "mother", in a tiny little voice just before it happens? If you know what video releases it may be on, that'd be a great help, too! Thanks!!!

I think it might have been Duck Amuck?

The only one I can think of is "Deduce, You Say," which has Daffy being mangled by the Shropshire Slasher after trying to arrest his mother for hawking dandelions without a license.
When so informed of the parental connection, Daffy responds with a "mother...really?" before being grabbed by the neck by the Slasher.
Sylvester says "mother" a couple of times before getting pounded in some of the Tweety cartoons, and Mel Blanc's high-pitched voice for the two sound pretty similar, even with Daffy's voice speeded up, so it's possible to get the two confused.

Thanks for everyone's help on this one! Maybe it WAS Sylvester...memories of cartoons you've seen over the years can be tenuous. But at least you all know what I mean...you've heard it....'mother'. But, by all means, please keep your thinking caps on, and if anything rings a bell, let me know!

In "Stupor Duck" (a classic from Bob McKimson), Daffy has "saved" a sub from sinking. A missile is then fired at him. It hits and Daffy goes down, saying "mother" before submerging.
Although this is but one example, I hope this helps, Cathy.

Daffy did say "mother" in Space Jam, but that's beside the point.

It is on the video, THE STARS OF SPACE JAM: DAFFY DUCK (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=6304214545/theunofficlooneyA/) which can be ordered from Amazon.com or found at your local video store from Warner Home Video.

Charlie Dog also says it in "Awful Orphan", just before he pulls a Brody out a window (onto a pile of matresses--"You lose somethin', bub?").
