Well, actually, it wouldn't be such a bad lose, but... Is it true that the Joker's really dead? I read in BoF that Dick killed him. If so, how, when, where, etc... what happened? That would be a really big event. The only reason I mention it cuz, well, even if he is the biggest son of a- well, you get my point, I mean, the Batman and Joker have been around forever. So, I wanna know. Is it true?

Yes and no: the Joker was killed by Nightwing during the conclusion of the Last Laugh mini-series, but someone performed CPR on him, and he got better real fast.

So, he did die, but DC copped out and brought him back (like they could ever kill the Joker).

AND it gets my vote for "Weakest Ending of a Major Storyline Ever." Seriously, I thought Last Laugh was bad, but that moment destroyed it.

I think it would have been reall yinteresting if The Joker stayed dead. Naturally they can't kill him. He's one of DC's most recognized charatcers, so killing him would almost be blasphomy (sp).

I can't beleive they would even do that. Being dead, and then brought back to life...seems lame for something like Batman and the Joker especially. I just read a fanfic a week or so ago concerning that issue with Dick thinking he'd really killed the Joker..well, which he had,lol. And in the author notes the author mentioned alot how stupid the issue was and why she was writing a fic of her own version of how the rest of the issue went to appease fellow Nighty fans who hated LL. She was amusing...and it was a really good fic!

Speaking of killing the Joker, did anyone read the issue of Hitman where Tommy shoots the Joker, but Batman finds him and has to administer first aid?
