Who used to watch "The Pretender"?

I'm just curious, as to who watched this show. And if any of you did watch it, are you looking forward to Island of the Haunted prmiering on 12-10-01.

Just for those of you who don't know, the Pretender was about a super genius named Jarod who was kidnapped (as a little boy) by an organization called The Centre and used for research. Trying to create things like weapons or ways for a swat team to raid a building or something. Then one day he found out that his plans are being sold to the highest bidder to kill people. So he escapes from The Centre.

The show is about him trying to evade from The Centre as they try to get him back for more resaerch.

i also am waiting for the tv movie. after this movie, is that it? are there going to make anymore tv movies? i really don't see them answering all the questions that have been brought up. i remember MacGuyver followed the same format; after the series was over, they did a few tv movies

I don't know if there will be any more movies after this, Micheal T. Weiss wants to move on. And it's not just Micheal T. Weiss, it's the whole AOL Time Warner thing too. When AOL merged with Time Warner all production on anythig Pretender stopped. That's also why the movie will air on 12-10 instead of the original airdate earlier this year. So it's still undecided, but if you want I'll keep you posted on the situation.

I liked the series as well.
Jarod is the man, hes sort of a cross between the Equalizer and Santa Claus, he can be vengefull and bring joy to those he meets.

I'm looking forward to the new made for television, TNT movie. I saw a few episodes (it was on a bad timeslot) and saw the last movie. I heard that two more were planned after the new one. I think they were cancelled though.

If any of you are curious, The Pretender 2001 is on tonight @ 10:00p.m. Eastern and Pacific. Island of the Haunted in one week @ 8:00p.m. Eastern and Pacific. I also think there will be a marathon before the movie, just like when The Pretender 2001 premiered.

I was good, but it left me wanting more!

Miss Parker and Jarod almost kissed! I wished they had! Those two are perfect together! :D
Jack McGee be damned, I think that these two should get together and find their moms. I hope there's one more TV-movie.
As for the Raines/comatose Parker scene, where he said that he had a relationship with pop Parker, that even he never told his wife about, I jumped up said GAY! I was really weirded out by that admission. Ofcourse later, we findout that their brothers, whew.. I'm rather glad about that! Also miss Parker find out she's Miss Raines, she says she's going to throw up, that was funny as hell.
Anyway, good action, great mystery, I just wish that the next TV movie wraps things up more tightly. Like Jarod & Parker meet their moms, Angelo, goes and lives Sidney, who retires. Brutes and his daughter go on a long vaction, Lyle goes to jail, he's a jerk after all, and Raines gets his last desserts.
O what wonderful world it would be.
