Is it just me or did a couple scenes from these cartoons have no in-between animation? In "Be patient, Patient," when the Crow tips the Fox's dinner table up to steal the food, it fades from position to position. It looks like three individual frames fading into eachother. Then in "Mr. Moocher," when the Crow comes down to the top the plateu, he fades from one pose to another. It's fairly quick, but noticeable.
Was this some sort of strange animation experiment? The only other thing I can think of is that the negatives for these scenes were damaged, so they just took the remaining frames and faded them to be in sync with the sound (I find this unlikely). I like the effect of it in "Be Patient, Patient," but it's just freaky looking in "Mr. Moocher."
I also doubt it was for cheapness since all of the other scenes use full animation.
Also, I don't like the Fox and Crow's new voices in "Grape Nutty," just thought I'd add that... the old voices, especially the Fox, were really funny, especially in "Be Patient, Patient."
