View Full Version : The Mole: High Stakes Round - It's On NOW!

Colin

...or more precisely, after at some time after midnight tonight.

To all Mole participants...

A special High Stakes round begins tomorrow. In preparation for it, all teams must start thinking about their next move. No wagers are to be placed at this time.

Also note, this next entire round will be an INDIVIDUAL ROUND! With *all* correspondence taking place via PM between myself and the individuals. It's a face paced round. All players will have until the end of the day to respond to the PM I send.

Another note for all:

We ask that you do not discuss this competition in the public forums and keep discussion of it to a minimum between your teammates. That's not to say you can't discuss it, but doing so could be dangerous.

You've never seen CSI, have you ;) He's the goofiest guy on the show (tho, he's matured a LOT over the course of 5 seasons...)

Sorry. I realize you're probably medicated with your so-called flu, but I was attempting some tongue-in-cheek humor, there. (Either that, or what people consider my idea of a mature guy has certainly sunk to a new low. )

You've never seen CSI, have you I'm still waiting for my season 1 marathon invite. :p

But. Back on to some sort of topic.

Another note for all:

We ask thatWE ask? As in, you the mole and a dog named Jake? (Oh fab. Now I've gotten Hoyt Axton stuck in my head.)

...and Season 1 Marathon? Honey, I got the first 4 seasons of Vegas and the first 2 seasons of Miami on DVD ;)

No no. It's the famous Face Paced Mole Round. Get with it, Pabs.

...and Season 1 Marathon? Honey, I got the first 4 seasons of Vegas and the first 2 seasons of Miami on DVD ;)Right. So, apparantly, I'm in for a long introduction to this show of yours. You know, I thought going to see all three Star Wars (4,5 & 6) films at the Wang Center with my friend Mathew was a long show.

Y'know... there's nothing quite like 117 straight hours of wholesome CSI goodness... (keep in mind, that's an estimate number.... giving approx. 45 minutes per 1 hour episode, but not taking into account that there's at least 2, maybe 3 "hour and a half"-TV time episodes)

...maybe that's what I'll do on my vacation from work...

Artimus Gigan
02-26-2005, 09:35 PM
Well Colin...do your worst

however that phrase could also be interpited as "do your best" as in using your skills to the fullest potential which then would void the "worst" part of the phrase...

so the answer is indecisive...

Hey, just a question...I will likely not even be online tomorrow due to other commitments and priorities, so if we don't respond to this e-mail because we're not even here, that doesn't mean we're automatically out, does it?

Come on, give us two days!

...and now! The moment you've all been waiting for...

First, Congratulations to The 7 C's! Your team has won $7,500 and an all expenses paid trip to the Firing Squad!

Second, Congratulations to the big winners... the team of B-Line! You guys won a whopping $10,000! ...oh yeah, and another trip to the firing squad!

Now, I suppose you want to know who picked the wagers? ...if you haven't already discussed it amongst yourselves, I'm not going to tell you... yet ;)

However, there is something in store for the two who selected the wagers... in the mean time, look for the Firing Squad thread coming soon!

...oh yeah, Congrats to A-Team for avoiding Firing Squad yet again :)

Artimus Gigan
02-28-2005, 08:38 PM
Alright who sold us out

I resisted the wager to send the team to the squad 3 times...

Somebody was weak minded..

However Colin I ask you this, what if the entire team chose to send the other team mates to the FS in exchange for cash...how would that work if everyone choose that? You wouldn't be able to Execute them because they were promised a reprieve...so in exchange the maximum they could get would be the 10,000 multiplied by the number of team mates

so I found a flaw in your pristine system

True Noir

Ok so TN is figting KW to see who gets to beat me up?Good work Colin. I'm sure you're very pleased to see us all of us who were at one point friends on this board at each other's throats. Well done.

Now. Can I at least get my trench coat back? It's chilly in here. And I'm sure, being so old and all, the image of me au natural is frightening the passers-by.

No prob. Didn't mean to suck the air out of the room here or anything. But possibly one might want to only 'punch' those they know enjoy that sort of thing. I have no great fondness for it.

Tripping, slapstick, slapping each other upside the head, good-natured-ribbing, that's all fine. Any real sort of personal violence, I tend to react badly to. =\

I read somewhere that Gwens need hugs, 'cause mean men on games tease them. Interesting, no?
