View Full Version : Miguzi needs more variety and fast.

Double Static Shock is running on my last nerve. If they wont put TMNT back then they should replace it with something. Megas would probably be the easiest choice.
However I believe there are other shows on CN that could work on Miguzi quite well.
Rave Master - it's already on Saturday Miguzi and I guarentee you CN you'll get better kids ratings for it durring Miguzi then at 10:30PM.
One Piece - putting this on Toonami is a joke. It could benefit grealty from weekday exposure.
Winx Club - they didn't pick it up yet... why not?
Megas XLR - I don't like the idea of it being on Miguzi but I guess it couldn't hurt.
D.I.C.E. - if Bandai isn't lying out of their teeth, then this show is doing well with 6-11 and it is also getting another 26 episode season. There's no reason not to air it on Miguzi.
X-Men: Evolution - if Static Shock can do so well, then certainly X-Men could bring in ratings still. We still have yet to see the finale on CN.
Power Puff Girls - they put it on Toonami before and it suits the block nicely.
Jackie Chan Adventures - CN keeps shuffling this around in strange slots. It's dead to KWB so putting it on Miguzi wont be treading into KWB territory like before.

Yea I'm getting tried of seeing Static Shock back to back. In my opinion, they should get the Powerpuff Girls. They don't get enough airtime on the weekdays compared to Ozzy & Drix or Static. TMNT is on hitaus for now due to the low ratings. Weren't suppose to put Rave Master on weekdays or something?
Winx Club right now is not reasonable they only have 26 episodes. Just wait till next year for that to come around. D.I.C.E. is a good bet for now until Code: Lyoko comes back with new episodes.

26 episodes is plenty. Code Lyoko had the exact same amount. Teen Titans went on weekdays in 2 slots with less than 26 episodes.

I'm gonna go ahead and quote myself:
Posted by Toonmaster in the thread DICE. Fall. 26. More. Episodes. ORDERED! (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=134929)
That's because Miguzi is trash. It's been almost a year (in two months), and Miguzi has yet to release Teen Titans and Totally Spies! from the lineup. Even good ratings is no excuse for keeping the same two shows in the same timeslots for... over the summer, into the new premiere season, into fall, over the winter...
And it continues, or at least until Miguzi can find more shows to suit itself, or it's going to have to find a new outfit (I'd lean toward comedy animation [then Cartoon Network's library of original programming would have a home]) for itself.
It's really pitiful when a block that airs once a week for four hours has gone through more shows in half a year than another block that airs daily (for a total of 28 hours a week) that has only gone through only seven shows in an even longer timeframe.
I'm sorry, but it's true. And, D.I.C.E. would work wonders with Miguzi's crowd. Just don't try the Saturday Rave Master thing.I really think that Miguzi should try what Australia's partly doing and switch to comedy.

I would like to see:
-He-Man (the new one)
-Justice League
-Samurai Jack (Jack deserves another run)
I would also be happy with X-Men Evo, PPG, or Jackie Chan like some of you suggested.

Doubt it. CN and Kids WB are DC heavy so it's doubtful they'd air any Marvel property.

You do know it aired on KWB and CN previously right? Even when they were DC heavier than they currently are.

But, it's always going to be the matter of when. Like, when is Cartoon Network going to see that they're tiring the shows, even if they do garner ratings.

That's the point... if it still garners great ratings, why change it? Don't fix it if it's not broken, as the saying goes. Nick does the exact same thing, and CN can't compete if they don't follow the leader!
We're not even in the target demographic anyway, so do what I do. Unless TT or TS is airing one of your favorite episodes or an episode you, by chance, have never seen, then watch. Otherwise, there are much more productive things to do during that time.
Maybe Miguzi's biding their time or wants to do another signing right out of the blue, a la 'Code: Lyoko.' After all, the first anniversary is in April... there might be a big-name acquistion they want to surprise us with.
At least I'm hoping...

Two of the same show doesn't seem right for a four show block. Miguzi seems to have a very narrow theme. I guess I would call it light action. Of the shows suggested above, only Jackie Chan seems to have enough humour mixed in to fit. I've seen it so much I wouldn't make a special effort to watch, but then, except for Code Lyoko, all the shows on Miguzi have been seen before.

I agree with Freedom Fighter. Ya gotta compete. Why fix something that isn't broken?
However, if I had to select another show for Miguzi, I would choose Jackie Chan Adventures.

The Batman even just one day a week but this show is much more fitting for Miguzi then Toonami, same thing with dub one piece.

My predictions for this year are very short.
Megas joins in March or April
Rave joins when it proves itself worthy... Whenever that'll be
Code Lyoko's new season premieres in Fall
Teen Titans and Totally Spies don't leave period
2 Long Shots...
TMNT comes back for a while
Winx Club joins out of nowhere sometime this year
I guess it can be noted that Miguzi related annoucements were in short supply.
I really hope DICE moves to Miguzi if it really is doing well with 6-11. As it is... Rave Master was a much better fit for Toonami.
I know it's a longshot, but they should consider F-Zero: GP Legend.
As I said earlier, it'd give Miguzi a nice touch of action and whatnot.
'Sides, if it does end up being cancelled on 4Kids.tv, I really want to see it continue on CN somehow.

If F-Zero is being taken off because of low ratings, why would 4Kids ever consider investing in it on a channel less people get?

Code Lyoko's new season premieres in Fall
Teen Titans and Totally Spies don't leave period
2 Long Shots...Counter Attack!
If so, Megas replaces Static
Code: LYOKO premieres this mid-Spring or early Summer
I don't do Long Shots...
Miguzi Schedule:
May 2005
5.0 - Totally Spies!
5.5 - Megas XLR
6.0 - Code: LYOKO
6.5 - Teen Titans
If Miguzi needs a show that will last a while, then they need to start hunting. But, they don't see a need for one.

True, Samurai Jack should get another run, but not on Miguzi. The 10:30 timeslot before Adult Swim was, is, and always will belong to Jack, no matter what kind of swill CN schedules after Teen Titans. (I think CN will bring it back sometime soon, especially with the arrival of The Air-Bending Bald Kid Who Works for the Men in Orange.)
And since "Miguzi," from what I've been reading, means "girl's swimsuit" in Japanese (or something like that), there should be more stuff to bring in the girls. After all, who knows how long Alex, Clover, and Honey...'scuse me, Sam...will remain popular on CN before everyone starts getting tired of them (if they haven't already).
What would be good Miguzi fare for young ladies?
Winx Club, natch. They were on TV long before the WITCH Girls landed on Jetix.
Some kind of magical girl show, such as Sailor Moon (if they ever got the rights to it again), or Magic Knight Rayearth.
Sakura Wars, though highly unlikely to be picked up, would also be good. I think the girls would go for the Imperial Flower Division Combat Troops (a troupe of young stage actresses who moonlight as demon fighters in 1920's Japan).
If F-Zero is being taken off because of low ratings, why would 4Kids ever consider investing in it on a channel less people get?
Consider the fact that most people avoid any show that's dubbed by 4Kids. (Unless it's One Piece, they say they hate it, but watch it anyways)
I'm going to be stubborn and continue to hold out hope that F-Zero: GPL will get a second life somewhere. I just want to see the rest of Season 1 dubbed and aired on TV. That's it.
If not... I'll just plunk down $20 for badly subbed bootleg DVDs. XP
Hey, can't a girl at least dream? :(

That's "mizugi" (mizu = water, gi = suit). :D

Meh I watch Shaman King and Mew Mew for kicks. They are at least watchable for entertainment value though they fall short of the Japanese versions. But I'm too attached to the original One Piece so I'm more bothered by the pointless edits and changes it recieves. I dunno how long it'll take before I give up on watching it entirely... but I'm getting more ticked every time I watch... But as some say. It's like a train wreck, you just have to stop and look at it.
