Looks like World's Finest edged out Brave New Metropolis for the nomination in Round 3. Its really a shame that monkey fun didnt get more votes as monkeys really are quite cool. But I digress. On to week 4 and some truly tough competition for ol Supes with several excellent eps... but there can only be one winner.

Apokolips... Now! Without a doubt. Best episode(s) of the show until "Legacy".
It's worth my vote for the end sequence alone.
"Goodbye, old friend. In the end, the world didn't need a Superman... just a brave one."

Well, this one was hard. I went with The Late Mr. Kent. It could have been Apokolips...Now! but i gave it to The Late Mr. Kent because it was the type of story that isn't usually associated with Superman but they pulled it off beautifully.

This was really tough. I almost wish The Late Mr. Kent and Apokalips Now hadn't been in the same category together. They both deserve to advance to the final round more than say, World's Finest. I have to go with Apokalips Now though. It was bigger and actually changed the status quo on the show.

Come on. Darksied begins his invasion of Earth. Dan Turpin's heroic sacrifice. Lots of great action. This is one excellent episode.:D :D

With its heavy emphasis on action over ANY plot in the second half of the two-parter, I simply can't give it to the Earthly invasion of my namesake. The story wasn't there, just lots of explosions and beatings, and it's not like the story in the first half was really all that interesting to begin with. A disappointment.
Of the ones on this list, in fact, I'd go with "The Late Mr. Kent," which has the best characterization going on. Although "Little Girl Lost" was a wonderful story too.

Maybe I SHOULDN'T have voted for "Apokolips...Now!" because so far none of my votes have won. Doesn't matter, awesome episodes. If I had to pick my top three out of every Superman story, this would be one of them.

I voted for Knight Time because I thought it was very amusing to see Superman dressed as Batman and interacting with his world, friends, and enemies. I never was a real big fan of the whole Darkseid, Apokolips thing, they are good, but I never really liked them. Runner-ups would be The Late Mr. Kent, Where There's Smoke, and Heavy Metal... I like Steel:D

Dan Turpin's funeral is the single most emotionally affecting moment in the history of the DCAU. Even though I think Apocalips Now really doesn't hit its stride until 1/3 of the way through Part Two, there's no way I *can't* vote for this one.
