By themed I mean things like the Game Show Network, TV Land, Cartoon Network, and Boomerang. On the Adult Swim board someone has a post about Toonami and Adult Swim as their own channel, I can see it happening when more Adult Swim shows come around or something. Or they could show birdman and space ghost 60's eps during the day, I dunno. What I really want to see is a Late Night channel, Jhonny Carson, Dave Letterman, Conan....they have thousands of shows, they make one everyday, and youd never see a rerun on this channel. their cool shows too. Otherwise thats about it. I wish TV had more respect for toy news too, not a Toy channel cuz I have no clue how itd work, but liek a comic toy news show or something.

all anime would be great!

i've got tech tv right now and that's one of the best themed channels(besides CN ;) ) I've ever watched!

The Late Night channel would be a great idea. There are more than just Letterman and Leno and Conan episodes they could show, obviously. It would be fun to see re runs of Arsenio (tho Arsenio Jams is on VH1 now) and other shows that didn't last as long like Thicke of the Night and a few others. If they had to fill 24 hours of programming, there are shows and movies that used to air exclusively on late night TV back with Carson was the only show on the block, and they could re run some of those.

I'd watch a late night channel. I mean, Comedy Central never runs repeats of The Daily Show and never even mentions Craig Kilborn's involvement.

Besides, repeats of Politically Incorrect would be fun to watch.

Man, that is the million dollar idea. I think it just sounds like it would be such a fun channel. Somebody needs to market this!

There are other shows you hardly ever seen re run, such as Friday Night Videos and late night skit comedy shows that Comedy Channel seems to forget for the sake of SNL marathons, such as Fridays and SCTV. The variety you could have on this show would be almost endless.

I'd like to see an anime channel. I'm not into that stuff, but I could DEFINATLY see myself watching it. I think on this board awhile back we developed our own comic book network which I thought was also an awesome idea.

Yes! Talk Soup with Hal Sparks and the host before him (I forget his name)! Maybe that doesn't qualify for late night talk show....

I would also want an animation station ran by Fox.

Hal Sparks and Greg Kinear were the best hosts of Talk Soup. Is that show still on? They go thru hosts so fast.

I'd love to see a channel devoted to black and white cartoons....

Morning and afternoon: Blocks of Porky Pig Mondays and Tuesdays, Captain and the Kids Wendsdays, Popeye Thursdays and Betty Boop Fridays
Primetime: Porky Pig and Popeye blocks
Late Night: Bosko, B&W Merrie Melodies, Private SNAFU, KoKo the Klown, and Buddy

Maybe someone could fix this up........

I`d want a network devoted entirely to really AWFUL,obscure, and just plain stupid tv shows that lasted barely a season.

Or a surrealism channel, for movies and tv shows with extremely bizarre plots....they could play music videos, old commercials and art specials too.

How about a Pilot Channel? All the shows that got rejected by the networks but were good enough to be shown on TV under the name "Pilot" in the TV Guide?

An all anime channel would be great.
But what also would be great would be a channel with series that only aired once or got taken of air because of some lame reason. As a big New World Zorro fan I'd like to see that series and I know atleats 200 hardcore Zorro fans who would love to see the NWZ back. I mean, the Disney Zorro airs all the time. I bet there are alot of those kind of shows out there so I guess it could make a channel of it's own

I rather like the ideas of the pilot and failed series concepts, mainly because there are actually good shows out there that didn't get picked up for other reasons than that they were bad. But I don't know if a network devoted to this kind of programming would work. What I think is that TV Land should set aside a few hours a week to spot light shows of this nature.

I don't watch Tv. But, I'll post anyway! :D

A few years ago I REALLY wanted a Martial Arts Channel. All martial arts movies and documentaries. They could format it like Turner Classic Movies or AMC; Have some knowledgeable dude to introduce the flick, then spout a bunch of fun factoids after the end credits.

On the birthdays of famous guys like Bruce Lee they could do a marathon. Since Bruce only had four starring roles (Game of Death doesn't count, though they should show the fight scenes he filmed) they could pad the 24 hours with an original biography, "Green Hornet" episodes, "Dragon: The Bruce Lee story," etc.

They could do thematic sheduling, like 70's stuff from midnite to 6am. Then, at six, they could have a martil arts training show, or something; Play a Jackie Chan movie every night at 8; call it Prime Time Chan.

Sorry to bump this post, but I just got some ideas while painting a house.

What about a channel devoted to commercials!!! :D
That way we could watch a whole ep of anything without interruptions. What they do in my home country is that they air the whole eps and movies and THEN have a commercial block...

...and another idea; A channel for online fights. Like Tekken 3, fighting games and race games. There would be people who would compete and it would kinda be like a Boxing Fight or car-race, and the sports games too. People would team up and there would be professionals who would fight On Air.
And people would get famous for being the Tekken 3 champ. I know there are contests held for stuff like that , but it would be cool if there were fights on the TV.

Well I might be crazy but still...I just thought I'd mention it :)

I guess Boomerang isn't exactly raking in the bucks, but as far as I am concerned, Boomerang should be shut down and that programming transplanted back to CN for weekend runs and we should have that channel start airing Toonami and Adult Swim programming. I am all for it!

Boomerang doesn't have to be shut down because they don't even rely on advertising!
